I think your best bet, would be to explain to the buyer that you were surprised by the notification of the 1 month delivery time by the post office personnel, upon status verification. Try to make him understand that both one of you can’t do anything to speed up the process of the delivery and now that the books are being delivered, perhaps waiting for it would be an option to consider.
