if d writing was successful then it shouldn't be as bad as dead. it's diff story if u flashed d board w/ wrong bios or d power gone in d middle of flashin. these 2 confirmed "mampus" unless ya board got dual bios... tongue.gif

.::NOT BEST TO HEAR::.

AM3 performance is not great : Wahhhhh!!!! rclxub.gif rclxub.gif rclxub.gif

The first AM3 bioses and boards from at least a one tier-one motherboard manufacturer currently have some performance issues with AM3 CPUs and DDR3 memory.

At this time, DDR2 AM2+ platforms are usually faster, while at least according to AMD’s power point presentations, AM3 boards should end up around five percent faster than AM2+ ones.

AM3 boards and bioses are being tuned as we speak but DDR3 for Phenom X4 and X3 doesn’t makes much sense as you hope to get five percent performance increase while the price of DDR3 is more than 200 percent higher, compared to DDR2.

The great news is that all AM3 CPUs will fit into AM2+ motherboards and they can work just fine with DDR2 memory and we believe that this is what majority will do at least at start.

.::BEST TO HEAR::.

Phenom II AM3 Quad and Three cores listed

You don't have to wait for February 9th to get yourself new quad or three-core Phenom IIs. The new CPUs are already listed and available for pre-orders and the shop even dares to say that it will have 10 of each in two to three days.

Three CPUs are listed: one quad-core branded Phenom II X4 810 that will work at 2.6GHz, and this 95W CPU will cost £159.69 inc VAT.

The runner up has three cores and it will end up branded as AMD Phenom II X3 710, and it too works at 2.6GHz and sells for £112.63 inc VAT.

The new Black Edition is called AMD Phenom II X3 720 Black Edition Triple Core CPU and it works at 2.8GHz and you can hope for better overclock. This one sells for £114.31 ex VAT or £131.46 inc VAT.

Let time and you guys decide...he he he...rumors from www.Fudzilla.com
