my hubby and i are planning to buy the c905. but we're still thinking whether it's worthy or not. we saw the phone the other day but are still deciding. read some of the reviews on the net, and still cannot make up our mind. to c905 users, what are ur comments? we prefer phone with good sounds, and good camera. stable, not lagging even though got a lot of things stored in the m2. so, are we on the right track?

if you look into other 8mp competitors, you'll immediately realize only c905 has the xenon flash function, which is what makes those pictures look so nice, bright and sharp for those indoor pictures. you ain't going to get the same result by using LED (c905 has got LED too!).

i'd say, if you want camera, xenon flash is always the top priority than slightly more quality (innov8). unless you're not bothered by the lacking of xenon flash (but imagine during CNY you meet lots of people in the house/restaurant especially if the lights are dim, you'll want to throw away the camera).happy.gif

wasnt there a java app for the k800i that allowed to use the red auto focus LED as a flash light, it might work on c905

But the C905 don't have the orange auto focus light but it uses the white LED as the focus light.

An alternative is to use video mode and the LED will turn on. sweat.gif sweat.gif sweat.gif

Seems like the only way to on it is Video Mode > Light On

This is my personal opinion
Sounds - My volume is usually set at 5 (out of 8) and music playback is quite nice, no pecah sounds on the songs. For the speakphone handsfree, I've used it while driving and its quite good and loud. Sometimes if Im in my room, i on the speaker phone so that im free to walk around the room doing other things. I've not used a Sony Walkman phone so I cant really compare [Rating : 4/5]

Camera - The camera is much like any other cybershot phone - must do some tinkering with the settings (especially light balance) to get the correct colours that you want. I'm very satisfied with the camera. [Rating: 5/5]

Others - I've experience lags entering the contacts after typing the msg but not all the time, just sometimes - esp if its a long msg. When I go to Media > Pictures, its a bit slow to load all the photos. i got about 10000+ "photos" - thanks to my gps maps. I dont know why they categorize it as photos even though the maps are in a totally different folder rclxub.gif

No ar. I can see the white led first when the button is half pressed. Then xenon flash when fully pressed.

anyway, we are not talking about the k800i here. The only way (that we know so far) to activate the white flashlight in the c905 is by going to video mode and switching on the light
