Just finished 13 Reasons Why, started off nicely but I ended up hating every single characters inside, don't know what's with the hype of this book.

and now I am reading Wrinkle of Time because of the movie trailer and I love to read the books before the movie!

Finished The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo by Taylor Jenkins Reid.

Very easy to immerse oneself. Easy to read and amazing writing. I enjoyed it very much. biggrin.gif

Now I am busy reading fanfictions until I get bored of them, then will move to more published books!

Just finished 'The Song Of Achilles' by Madeline Miller, like the title, it's a story about the Greek God Achilles. In my opinion, the story very interesting, heartbreaking and bittersweet :')
Next will be reading 'Circe' also by Madeline Miller (guess i am addicted on her writing :x)

I enjoyed Circe a lot, more than The Song of Achilles. rclxms.gif

How's Circe? I've heard so much about it.
*
read it. i find it pleasantly relaxing, addictive and sad in a way.
And i like it because most greek mythology has always been all about men, men and more men, so it's very refreshing to actually read it from a women's pov. Don't expect something epic or breath-taking. But it was nice and enthralling enough that i finished the book in one go.

I'm currently reading Priory of the Orange Tree by Samantha Shannon

Super slow start, but now I wish i could have more time to indulge in it once you get past all the introductory plots

Forget about this Priory of the Orange Tree. At the end of it I find myself regretting all the time I have wasted in this trash book. xD

Reading The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes (The Hunger Games) right now, 60% into the book and the storyline and POV are still freaking boring.

Just finished reading The Silent Patient.

I didn't expect the twist ending of this book. No wonder this book received tons of reviews from book lovers.
*
Oh i read that. I remember giving it 3 stars.
By the way you can use Goodreads to track your progresses. But i think most avid readers would already have an account anyways.

I'm in a reading slump for 1 month and now I'm back.

Just finished reading Verity by Colleen Hoover. This book cost me 0.99$ at Amazon (kindle).

I gave 2/5. This book received so much hype and attention before this.

And it didn't meet my expectation. So many repetitive sex content in this book which makes me really turn off reading this book.

If the hype comes from Goodreads, i usually take it with a pinch of salt lately. There're a lot of fake/bought reviews.

The New Wilderness by Diane Cook is really not my cup of tea, I gave up half way because I got confused by the directions of the author. I am not very sure what she wants to get into.
Or maybe I am just being picky.

Gonna start The Glass Hotel.

This book is horrible. I feel so angry for wasting time on this book.
Gave it one star in Goodreads and saw that all the other reviewers in 1 star section shared the same comments that I have.

Damn Goodreads and their fake reviews these days.

Project Hail Mary. Half way through and I'm already hook with the plot!

I just started, about chapter 4. I usually don’t like first person perspective, it’s a hit or miss, no in between. But so far I’m ok with it.

Finished The Midnight Library, very quick read because content quite light, the book is quite good, some paragraphs even remind me of myself, worth for a read smile.gif

My next read is (one of my favourite author) :

Yes the midnight library is good, very relatable.

Currently Reading: Dark Roads by Chevy Stevens

I just gave up a book called The Moonlight Child by Karen McQuestion. That book is way too one dimensional and uninteresting characters. Repetitive descriptions. Couldnt bother to continue further.

Now I know why most local people avoid public libraries in Malaysia.

The book collections are not updated, catered to 1 language mostly, and heavily with religion book collections.

I surf Overdrive by the PPAS library website, the e-books that are available to be borrowed are not interesting.

Have never been to the local libraries honestly. Ever since the introduction of ebooks and kindle? I dont really have to worry about where To find books anymore.

I just finished reading The Moonlight Child by Karen McQuestion. Picked up this book after seeing rave reviews about it.

The book did not exceed my expectations. I kinda expected the "twist" that the author was heading to. Just 2.5/5 stars for me.

I gave up on that book. Its boring and one dimensional.
