The Godfather II is a 2009 video game based on The Godfather Part II, a 1974 crime drama film directed by Francis Ford Coppola and written by Mario Puzo. The game will be published by Electronic Arts and has been confirmed to be released on the PS3, Xbox 360 and Microsoft Windows. This is also a sequel to The Godfather: The Game, which was also developed and published by EA in 2006. The development of the sequel was hinted at from as early as 2007, and in August 2008, EA officially revealed the game, which is to be released on the 24th February 2009 in the US.

The Godfather II will take place in the late 1950s and early '60s over 3 cities: Havana, New York City, and Miami. Michael Corleone orders the player's character to take charge of the family after the death of Aldo Trapani, the first game's protagonist. Now as Dominic (who through ads appears more violent, cold, and arrogant in comparison to Aldo who almost had to overcome a moral dilemma when killing main characters in the game), the player leads the family to defeat other families and take control of various businesses and crime rings, in order to become the most powerful mobster in America.
Although "inspired by" the film, the game will deviate from the film's plot; for example, the flashbacks of Vito Corleone's early life in Sicily will not be featured. Many of the stars of the film will lend their likenesses and voices to the game; this includes Robert Duvall returning to voice Tom Hagen. However, Al Pacino again will not voice Michael Corleone and Coppola, the director of the film, is also reported to be uninvolved with the game's development.

Lol... those are definitely not the quality screenshots you will get in the game. Watching game footage, I can say that the game would be just average. Worse, the gameplay mechanics remain and the vehicles seem to behave unrealistically. (not comparing to GTA IV, no way, no way...)

Mafia 2 will definitely be better than this game. Definitely.
