Bro, you like no determination only. I still play with PS2, because i sold off my PS3 recently. But i still play with it because i also susah ma, no money to buy the latest games that often. How i get to buy the PS3, i sacrificed one month salary and went on a diet for a month man. It was enough for me to just taste MGS4 & Fallout 3. Whatever consoles u have will be the same what - for your entertainment. So what if you have a broke down GameCube, get it fixed and enjoy it.

On feeling being left out, ya i know. But i have no comment for that.

Yea just get what you can afford. I maybe have a ps3 but cannot afford many games like some people here. My set up is also very simple and cheap. From now on I plan to get games that only have high replayability value. to save money. And also sell all games back except one or two. Just enjoy what you have man.

No need to switch to 360. Am happy with my ps3 even with just a few games. During PS2 era I got so many games but still only liked a few.

Just be patient. You will eventually own them. Now that I start working I finally can own the consoles I want. But now I dont have time to play. Between work/wife/daughter my gaming time is spend at 1am till 5am. Then the next day I feel like a zombie. There are still many good games from the past gen. Have you played them all? By the time this gen becomes the past gen, stuff will be cheaper. So just give it time. That what I need... TIME *sigh*

I would like to know if anyone here doesn't own any of the current generation of consoles i.e. PS3, Wii & X360. I personally don't. I wonder if those who do ever felt being left out? Sometimes I wonder about this as I see people around me play the latest games e.g. Rock Band 2, Left 4 Dead, Little Big Planet, Mario Kart Wii and here I am still playing with my GameCube (which broke down recently  sad.gif )

It's not that I don't want to keep up. It's just that I don't have the time and money to commit to the latest gaming trends. I'm 27 now. I should be getting a wife and my masters by now. But when I look at videos of the latest games it makes me break a little to know that the only way I could enjoy these games is by watching videos of the games and reading FAQs of it.

So I would like to ask if anyone else feels like me? Or if you have any advice to help me stop feeling this way.

bro... clearly you have more important things to spend your time to on gaming... maybe if you cant commit to the latest gen consoles, u can try portable gaming. get an NDSL or PSP on the go while spending time with your family or when relaxing.... atleast you're not left out entirely from the current gaming trend...

and dont worry about your age bro....gaming is pretty much universal nowadays, heck, even my 60-ish uncle still plays Ps2. if it makes you happy, just do it biggrin.gif

while i am currently not owning any next gen consoles, im planning to buy a ps3 soon. the games mebbe few, but got some i really like (like mgs4 and FFXIII)

Totally agree with @PaiGeWonG.

Life is short. Study Hard, Work Hard .. Why not oso Play Hard! laugh.gif

I guess sum ppl have different priorities in their life. But gaming is a passion. If you really think gaming is ur stuff, then go for it. If not, better pursue ur other top priorities first. Gaming can wait..

p/s: I'm just a regular Joe. Married n proud owner of PS1, PS2, PSP n PS3.. Work hard n play hard ppl!!. thumbup.gif

well its ok to not have this ps3, xbox 360 or wii .. its not a must in life . its just entertainment . don't feel bad of not owning it . if u really really like that specific game then u should save some money and get yourself that game and console . video games today is not about consoles its the games that matter . u don't need 3 consoles to make u happy . u only need the game that u like and buy the console lah . without console then u cannot play that specific game u want ..

TS dude, you're older than me and I think you know that sometimes we need to sacrifice in our life, we don't always get what we want.

If I were you, I would concentrate on getting the master first, after that I bet you can get plenty of money with the master and get a pretty good gaming setup.

dude, dun worry la..i'm in the same place like u when the ps1 came out...need to get married, get stable etc...but after all that i pick up the hobby again (the PS2).

Now I'm married, chasing a phd degree and have a child but I'm still gaming. So if u feel now is not the right time for u...just take a break and sit this one out smile.gif
