QUOTE(redevil @ Feb 1 2009, 06:50 PM) hi mate...my camera has no tweak/hack. unfortunately, i havent bumped into one yet so i doubt if there is any. i doubt the current FW 842 improve cam compare to mine (prev FW, 825). imo, G900cam is not easy to get good pictures (at least mine isnt) as if the very depending on variables (cam settings, lighting, white balances, etc...huhu...) Added on February 1, 2009, 9:46 pm after installing bigkeyboard which doesnt work on G900, ive huge trouble deleting c/resource/feps especially the fepmenu.r01 file in it. ive tried all method from OFFcaps, kill the messaging from SMpro, delete file fr xplore- all in vain! now my messaging is bugged ,the text option seems to go haywire!! kk here sell at least rm1.4k
Ive always been a bit lucky with new item so my impression is that NEW AP is better than USED ORI on the basis that new ap is less risky than used ori since we dono why the person wants to sell unless u know him personally. besides, ap to me is very good quality if not equally good. but THAT'S JUST ME. |

whether which price is most suitable, let makket force decide lo....G900 is an underrated phone so the demand not strong.... for me, if buy hp, 200-300rm extra for new not much problm anytime. but 500rm is tad bit too much for an ori instead if u not in hurry for cash, can put kao kao 8xx range & wait, if for days no reply, lower etc. all concept same ...opportunity cost ...sometime luck oso ngam ngam got ppl cari etc |

i think many smartphones n pdafons have more problem rate than normal phones becuz theyr more 'delicate' gadgets. then, problems r more highlighted than those who dont hv problem with theirs, r passive readers behind forums or simply silent. overall i think the G900 still fares well in hardware dept or quality wise. altho the iphone 3G may lack many functions the 5800xm boast, but the iphone is an icon of its own and a trend starter in many ways. 3.5" lcd for a start n perhaps many more that r 'downplayed' in the 5800xm vs iphone 3G duel which highlights the strengths of the nokia. some claim (even got a column in local newpaper on this) the iphone is powerful enuff as hacking tool in network level, n hackers' fav mobile. many things about the iphone we dono cuz we dont own it....as many talk bad about G900 cuz they dont own it also first thing first. i think the iphone is special in its own right n possible hidden stregths but im not in the territory to unravel them. in my world, G900 is really powerful enuff for my own modest use. keeping tabs of my daily expenses thru thrid party software and many other varied programs, then got stylus like pdafon minus the thickness (thank god!) |

@ f480 v g900 i think the relevant consideration is whether u need keypad or not . i dont use wifi often as ive a connected laptop but with wifi ability is more 'complete' though not a necessity and is useful if ur outside. depend on what u use it for also idk the operating of F480 but the g900 is highly functional (features) on top of options (due to uiq3 platform), comprising third party software. E.g. now i can on/off iphonelock or use the orgiinal g900 inndependent keylock...theyr both great, daily expense, among other apps. but dont expect u can substitute a 12" notebook with a 2.4" g900 e.g. msexcel, surfing, etc is painful ! battery wise, im very sure the G900 lasts longer 2.4" on 950mh v 2.8 on 1000mh. if multimedia, why don u consider the nokia xm. but i still feel speed sms still best wit keypad. use notebook/netbook to email la...for bizmen sure can afford that lol |

QUOTE(cutiesbaby312 @ Feb 5 2009, 07:21 PM) eh guys.. juz wnna know that those apps that are runnin in the task manager.. does it consume battery?? from somewher in the internet, i read that it does. i think SMpro can set time clean all running apps. thats why one of the negative review of the G900 is that it doesnt completely end the apps when u click x but merely falls into background....for saying that, it should be batt consumingThis post has been edited by wayfeel: Feb 5 2009, 08:44 PM |

when u activate the SMpro, it will show time (analog, at color of ur liking) at anywhere u place the icon...the time will show at any apps u using; opera, internet, even when watching movie. untill u end the smpro. woah...so many keypad imperfection....u guys sure make me feel even more fortunate....as mine is flawless....as far as now... |

sorry guys, i typed faster than i thought. smpro clock is digital. regarding u guys' expensive hobby of changing phones...well, i wudnt complain about changing NEW phones tho every so often BUT the biggest drawback is TO GET FAMILIAR BACK WITH THE PHONE that's teh annoyin part....mostly, cuz i use phone for serious purpose....so wudnt want to waste time re learning each new phones will hinder my function....thats gotta be the biggest ZZZZZZZZZ for me lol QUOTE(panda-man @ Feb 6 2009, 11:38 AM) in my whole life only owned 4 handphones lehhhh. cheapo nokia, another cheapo nokia (got for free), O2xphoneIIm, and now G900. hehe. not so experienced in phones. no marney. now got little marney all going to my ps3 LOL im like u oso ive used first brick nokia....taiko dai type....my hostel frens alwz teased me can brick robbers head...then i got my nokia 3n00 from a fren FREE! then i upg to O2 xphone II (lol) then port rosak, i use my mom spare hp a nokia basic phone (zzz, no cam, no nothing) and now super G900 too! what you mean? you mean like whats the difference between smartphone and normal phone? smart phone is a phone that can connect to your computer, sync contacts, modem, and all that stuff. i think. basically, a smartphone IS A pda fon....theyr the same thing but coming from different sides of evolution. smartphone has the functions n usually the capabilities of a pdafon.... at the beginning, a pda is just a window type organizer, no keypad too, but many touchscreen....minus the phone (calling ability), like HP, O2, and the likes, then incorporated phoning ability into the pda organizar turn =pdaphone smartphone evolved from normal phone (no organizer/os ability) from nokia, SE, etc then incorp the said abilities into it to become smartphone! the advtg i c r keypads, MUCH BETTER batteries, smaller, etc |
