once use it, cant use other phone edi. losing it (esp the touchscreen) is like losing one hand.. seriously, happened to me.

G stands for Generation Web. I read it somewhere. It maybe a small screen, but browsing is generally pretty good on this phone.

As long as you use a cover, it should be fine.

You'll need Torx screwdrivers though. You can probably get them from some hardware store. If not, you can ask some phone technician where to buy them.

PandaMan... abt the icons modding... for G900 one is limited as there are some difference in the rsc files with the ones in W960i or P1i or the older UIQs... nt every iconpack u find online can be used... hmmm but i'll try to find some to post it here... BTW, yeah... just as LineAge said.. it's very time consuming to create yr own iconpack... better use others and give them credits

Errr... abt changing the housing ... haha.. well, make sure the there's no warranty sticker being stick on the screws (the pentagon shape) BTW, do u hav the screwdriver for it? It's not the normal philip style... lolz... Ermm... the other day in V1's thread.. there was this guy gave me dis link that would teach us how to dissemble G900... well, maybe that would help...

Yeah, you will definitely lose your warranty if you open it (there might be stickers on the screws).

I'm not in Malaysia any more so AP warranty is useless for me

Guys... u know what??? I really saw the china's version of G900 yesterday with my own very eyes at the handphone fair in Klang!!!! It was selling at RM599... lolz.. camera not good and... it has antenna for TV!! My heart sank when I saw it coz it's like...    why is this great phone having a clone outside which is so... 'low-end'....
