Added on January 25, 2009, 12:06 amyeah i agree 256k is not brilliant that is standard in most SE phones. so is Asus' latest pdafon ~rm2k and samsung omnia >rm 2k oso using 256k. i guess all these colors not brilliant.

the G900 is meant2b a normal phone in mind in the first place, so there really no point having more than 2.4" in it. ppl who wants a bigger screen don go for normal looking phone?

superb smartphone ability only comes in second with extra bonus of a (good accuracy n consistent pressure) touchscreen at the same time!

rly thanks for ur explaination .i wanted to know whats the difference in the G900 n the W960 walkman. if it's just the visualization then i wont want it. so, the built in media (music) in G900 is walkman 3.0 ya.


cuz currently i feel that the G900 media abit unfrenly to use, when wan to listen songs, need to browse over so many songs, almost 1scroll/song or two at most...

i nvr feel/thought the 2.4" in G900 isnt adequate (for me use specifically) since its inception. its ample for touchscrn. i don use it a multmedia intensive but mostly call n sms. some ppl jus prefer to hv smaller phone thats all at the same time touchscrn (i even considered a pdafon before this but smartphones have their advantages) which both ur nokia recommendation clearly arent (and wanted mech keypad but the 5800 doesnt). so thanks for the reminder.

bottomline, i guess one man's poison is another's treasure

i agree that omnia n asus has better lcd color reproduction, but i got my G900 under 1k +2GB, go figure

besides, how many phone in the market, with this size, +keypad, wifi connectivity n functionality n a amazing touchscrn at this price? i thought it was a steal when i saw it.

i feel that the G900 isnt that successful on a commercial level but customer level it might be, at least to most customers in the sense that most seem satisfied. even online negative reviews r hardly found. most have praises for it. some quarters not like it n needed to ruin the party abit lol

yeah, unlike other models, G900 reviews mostly have higher customer ratings unlike some more 'premium' phones reviews like to rate very highly, with understandable commercial values

i wonder how many/which nokia models r touchscrn. i nvr own any expensive nokia phones

i know da tube is their first *full* touchscrn. seemingly the nseries isnt touchscrn. some critics said cuz its their first attempt at full touchscrn, there shouldnt b great expectation. seem like nokia slow at offering touchscrn phones huh even with keypad ones.

gsmarena reviewed this phone n said the exact thing u did. less accurate touchscrn accuracy and consideered the double click tap bit hassle.



ur 1st statement, i agree. "any self-respecting touch screen user will want a bigger screen" but u have to bear in mind, there IS another such a customer group for touchscrn phone for a normal phone (smaller phone). tho they r not a big group hence explain why not so successful commercially but customer level cuz the phone quality is pretty good and cater their need precisely. those customers/users realize that to have touchscrn in a normal phone (by normal; good size +keypad), the lcd size knot too big or will end up wit a bigger phone they r trade offs to consider. understanding this logic, eventually, most of them dont mind settling for 2.4" . i hope u get what i mean but...

...those examples u gave does not have keypads (ifon,xm, htc), n they r bigger. as if u still don get the point since ur here quite a while d. where are u reading/looking at. i hope eventually u do choose to see our POV. cheers

r u a seller? which htc is that. i don really know which se models r touchscrn, since we all know that, normal looking phone with keypad, RARELY have competition if not a segment of its own! at least as far as other brands r concern. tho the G900 is not perfect, but its by far, the best in this segment available! man, i hope some1 understands what im tryin to say n what i said is str8 forward engrish! Lol
