Act, I am an ACCA student too. Currently doing F7, F8 & F9. For the past few weeks, I came across to read about this ICAEW Qualification too.

I noticed that after the completion of ACCA Fundamental Level, can gain exemption up to 8/9 papers, left only about 6 papers.

I ask my lecturer about this and she told me that ICAEW is much tougher as compared to ACCA. The requirements are more demanding. It is more on case study especially when u progress to the Advanced Stage.

At the same time, it requires students to gain working experience as well as study for the exam. That's y the students must be matured enough to handle the qualification.

As a result, I can conclude that ICAEW is much tougher as compared to ACCA as the exam r more difficult and the students must gain practical experience at the same time.
