Install and run "FreeMemory" application to free some of the memory. See whether it works.
I used to have this problem... but after a new restore and JB, all the problems are gone. I have 8 pages of apps now.

is a reset necessary from time to time to keep the iphone running fast?

I would normally do a respring using SBSettings after playing games or running any memory-intensive app.

Also get rid of apps that you don't need. My experience is that the more apps you install, the slower the device becomes.

There's another software called "MemStatus" that can view which processes are running and how to clean the memory..

Below is what happened after I cleaned the memory... See the "Free" amount of memory being claimed.

u can try install some boss pref toggles from cydia or manually to disable some of the services such as ilog, winterboard, pdanet and bla bla bla. these services are just fine to disable it in order to avoid mass memory consumption. Another option is install sbsetting (which is more convinient to launch if compare to boss pref) and always check ur available memory there. U may resprint ur iphone if u notice that ur memory runs under 30Mb. however, sbsetting might not have the some of the advance function as boss pref did.

i just bought Memory Status and it works like a dream. i used to get "low memory" warnings from App Sniper but after I reclaim memory using Memory Status, I no longer have that problem.

btw, i emailed the author about the boring looking icon and she said she had hired a professional to redo it a month ago and it's ready :-)

and thanks for the recommendation Edoras.
