QUOTE(Edoras @ Jan 16 2009, 06:48 AM) Install and run "FreeMemory" application to free some of the memory. See whether it works. I used to have this problem... but after a new restore and JB, all the problems are gone. I have 8 pages of apps now. is a reset necessary from time to time to keep the iphone running fast?

i just bought Memory Status and it works like a dream. i used to get "low memory" warnings from App Sniper but after I reclaim memory using Memory Status, I no longer have that problem.
btw, i emailed the author about the boring looking icon and she said she had hired a professional to redo it a month ago and it's ready :-)
and thanks for the recommendation Edoras.
