Thats the idea, i hope i can oc this proc to 4ghz, without exceeding 1.3++vcore.. i hope i be able to do that with the ccf cooler.. btw look here user posted image, why it is written for 45nm donot go above 1.4v? is it because of the stock cooler?how about after i used this ccf cooler? can i go beyond that?
also the ram voltage, if i didnt set to 0.2v is it ok? right i just let it set normal..

Take the overclock one step a time .. Test with wPrime or Prime95 for stability, if not increase voltage bit by bit until stable. hmm.gif

The RAM voltage increase option is for overclocking the RAM. Increase this a bit if running the RAM at (much) higher than its rated opertaing clock speeds. icon_rolleyes.gif

if i set the ram voltage normal(at default) and not 0.2v+ like in the pic can?

usually i make make sure not exceeding 800 as im using ddr 2 800.. so im only change the setting if i wan to oc my ram is it?
btw is it safe if i go slightly over 800 let say 810 or 820.. is it ok?

VTT is FSB termination
1.45v is fine but anything above is not recommended for 24/7

so i shud try to make sure that my 45nm running below 1.45v for 4ghz++ using ccf? rclxub.gif

ok, jus received my sunbeam ccf today.. i try to oc my proc to 4.0ghz.. but at 1.4vcore, still not stable, thus i dunwan to push to higher vcore as im stil new in this oc world, tongue.gif sweat.gif, then i decide to oc to 3.87ghz, at 1.36vcore, i manage to stable using othos at max load of around <61'c.. that a 30 min strees cpu and ram test.. however, at 33 min, there is an error, something like hardware failing..it just stop, but not hang, no BSOD, no nothing.. i just closed the orthos, and now resuming surfing the net..
my question is how long will it take to test for stability, and is my pc is stable or not? and what does it mean by hardware failing?does i fail any of my hardware? but somehow my hardware no effect or anything.. rclxub.gif plez help..

at 3.87ghz, my fsb is 310x12.5
vcore at 1.36v
memory frequency i dont remeber but less then 800,rated ram speed is 800
memory multiplier i dun remember but i always choose the 1 dat close to 800,
and if u are asking for ddr2 voltage control, i set it to normal...
right now trying to find stable oc at 3.5ghz at 280x12.5,vcore 1.24v,memory mlti 2.5 at 700.. running prime95 for almost 2hrs now..no error..is it stable enuf?

extra info bout mysef, btw is 24/7 play mean u never shutdown the pc everyday? if so, then im not a 24/7 person, my usage is maybe around 8-10 hrs a day, not straight 8-10hrs,but accumulated hrs per day, and i often shutdown after play my pc..so do i realy ned a stress test for 8hrs at least?
