I really hate the way the press is blowing this Robbie Keane fiasco out of proportion. The worse thing is that after reading today's "Star", you get the impression that it was Rafa's mistake he was bought in the first place! I checked the source and low and behold it read, "The S*N UK". Well surprise surprise.

PS: Did the broadcasters in Malaysia show the socks thrown on the pitch? That was proper funny.

Yes they did and I bet them bitters were to cheap to throw any new ones away.

when is the next match for Liverpool?

5pm UK time on Sat which equates to around 1am local time, Sunday morning. We're playing Pompey away.

To be honest, I thought we were crap last night and Lucas was the biggest culprit, again. I'm getting a little sick of being patient with him. He has been given numerous first team opportunities and I'm surprised he has played for Brazil. His challenge after having already received a yellow card was unecessary and stupid. Torres looked uninterested and Jagielka had him in his pocket the whole game. The only players that looked up for it were Kuyt and Carragher who defended brilliantly. Reina had a pretty good game as well. How Lucas gets selected ahead of Masch is beyond me. People say that it's because he is a box to box type player but if you ask me, he looks pretty useless in attack. Sure we should rest players but in a game of this magnitude, how can you leave out one of your most competitive players?

yes,and to think y Rafa wanna get rid of him earlier really baffles me!

Xabi has rediscovered his form this season but if you remember he was relatively poor the whole of last season. Kudos on his for getting his act right and Rafa also deserves some credit for admitting that Xabi has been brilliant this season and has rewarded him with several first teams starts.

Why haven't N'Gog and Babel played more often? Well it may just be my opinion but neither have really showed that they deserve a start. Babel holds the ball up pretty well but he offers little more as he does make some pretty bad decisions on the ball. N'Gog has raw pace but tends to run straight into defender

Monstar does know a little about Shankly. As young as he is, he has read a lot and is someone that knows the most number of Liverpool songs by heart. I'm sure he is enjoying himself in England now having just attended the game against Chelsea pissed drunk. Think we have our friend, Phil Snr to thank for that. In any case my point is that Monstar has read up a lot on Shankly.
