Hi guys,

just had a chat with my SA yesterday, after submitting documents for loan processing. According to him, the sales of the NHC is not as hot as they predicted, mainly due to the economic recession. He said that if the situation is normal, the sales of the NHC will shoot through the roof, as it is better than the old city in all aspects.. smile.gif
Now i m just waiting for my car.. shud get around march/april.. hopefully earlier laaa.. my priority for the car..
i) tint - security and sunlight - thinking of the ecotint combo rm1.5k i think..
ii) the pps coating - for lasting shine tongue.gif
iii) maybe central locking - not sure yet.. coz will woid the warranty..

lemme know wat u guys think of the above three things.. thx.. whoever got their NHC.. please post more pics.. hehe

Added on February 1, 2009, 11:06 amThe Honda MY Website has a customer service feedback form, all NHC owners, please fill up your complaints and feedback on your car:
http://www.honda.com.my/customer-service/mm2h_contact_en.cfm

I will file in my case as follow:

1. Alarm sound is too low, not secured
2. No autolock, even proton has it. Vios has it, how coulf city be competitive?
3. Back car plate is sticked with cheap tapes, fell few times
4. Air-con is loud and slow to cool(fan 1 is useless), wira is even more silent and fast cooling
5. Oil leak on power window causing window to stain during scroll
6. Engine is noisy, sound isulation is not good. feel like a local made car
7. seat/door cushion is easily dirty, rubber/vinyl preferred
8. aircon knob is ugly like myvi
9. Bumper was not intact properly after few trips

17" tyres are definitely more expensive than that of the 16" tyres, of course of the same make and grade.
I would suggest to those who wants to change to 17" rims and on a budget, to not do so and stick to the current 16" rims unless you want your FC and pick up to suffer a bit. Unless you can fork out a decent amount to get lightweight rims, it's not advisabe. Unless of course, you just want it for the bling-bling. Switching rims will also void ur warranty if im not mistaken to the wheels, suspension, and perhaps the EPS.

4mm?

btw if im not mistaken.. your 3M is Crystalline 70 all around?
just wondering, is the Crystalline 60 approved by JPJ? was offered that for the 4 side windows

for everyone's viewing, please see this link for tyre prices..

http://forum.lowyat.net/topic/377857

i believe that the r17 is still cheaper than r16 for the same make.. on ur comment on the warranty, i m only planning to change the rims after the warranty is over / almost three years.

Could you quote the comparison?
There's way too my tyres on that list and I'm not sure how 'updated' the price is.
Enlighten me though how a R17 tyre can be cheaper than the corresponding R16 tyre of the same make and model (taking into account the width and height*), 'cos I've not seen any so far. My previous ride.. My NCT5 16" was RM250 as oppose to < RM200 for an NCT5 15". Cheers smile.gif

* - Larger tyres = more rubber used = lesser tyre production (hence, lesser economies of scale) = more expensive?

I think if I can get about 450km on a full tank of gas with mostly city (KL) driving, I'll be contented.
Right now.. for the first full tank of gas, think I'm getting about 400km.

i hear u.. however my concern is not 15" and 16" tyres. my concern is 16" and 17" tyres, simply because 17" is more widely produced. A general question, how many standard cars come fitted with 16" wheels. A more wider variety of stock make cars come with 15" or 17".
