Oh.. 3M CR70 Tint + 3M Mat = RM2000... The tint ori price RM 2300 but they gave me RM1900 as student price... And the mat RM 150 become RM100.
I did it near Jalan 222 branch, Apple Auto. Address as below: No.9, Jalan 235A, Kg.Baiduri, Seksyen 51A, 46100 PJ. Just go straight when you see Honda on your left, until the crossroad with the smallest roundabout you ever see, then take 12 o clock path.. Continue till 2nd junction and turn left, then you will see a row of shops on left. Apple Auto is there... They also have another branch in Pandan Indah. I am going there again on monday or tuesday... CR70 blocks 99.7 heat and UV rays, with 70% light transmittance. Works well with Tag and GPS.. Garmin or my N95 GPS alike. And the car still cold after I park it out my house during noon for 4 hours. This post has been edited by ZeroSP: Feb 2 2009, 01:50 AM |

The max I ever go is 110 km/h until now.. Still good... But, I would recommend to change the tyre to at least 195 for better cornering... 185 definitely will feel too small..
And sysh/travies... If want the sample of tinting, I can give it to you all for reference... All 3M samples are available since they gave me. This post has been edited by ZeroSP: Feb 2 2009, 01:52 AM |

RM1300 according to the sample booklet, it is "AP" version of CR70 which only can warranty locally... But who knows if they really give the real CR70 right with that price which is very good...
ivtec2, just go to the place I mentioned.. Tell them you want 3M mats.. They will measure and cut the perfect fitting size for your car, standard price RM150. Lunacry, with a normal 16' rim, it can fit at least a 205/55 or 205 50... But NHC 16' is something special or "abnormal" is this case, coz it can't fit 205 sized tyre, it is just a 16' rim without standard 205 width tyre space. The furthest you can go is 195/50 or 195/55... So if you just planning to change to 195, it is totally ok with the stock rim... If you want 205 tyre, you need to get another 16' rim. Added on February 2, 2009, 9:20 am3M have security tint as well... If you want the stats I can provide you This post has been edited by ZeroSP: Feb 2 2009, 09:20 AM |

CR70 is solar tint... If want security tint for a same price, it only blocks 55% of heat which is 4 mil... 6 mil costs RM2800 and blocks 99.7% as CR70.
And... I need to re-make my statement, 3M can't really pass Smart Tag but definitely GPS can... Smart Tag could not pass 70% of the time due to infrared sensing as they explain to me... Today when I went there it is their CNY Appreciation Lunch... So I get a chance to eat along as talk about 3M. |

Jalan 222 is good enough for me so far...
They even send sms as reminder for appointment booked. And currently for city driving, I so far only maintained average 14.6km/L... This post has been edited by ZeroSP: Feb 3 2009, 07:01 PM |

RM550 the PPS if not wrong as offered...
The 3M mat and 3M CR70 already 2050... Ha.. My dad typically just sees NHC as entry level car.. So PPS not needed, that's why he asks me pay myself if I want. |

Or if you good at electrical engineering, apply a cable to that antenna which will cause a shock if they touch it. Lolz...
And my bad.. The antenna is plastic coated.. Cant transmit electricity. This post has been edited by ZeroSP: Feb 4 2009, 02:37 AM |

I knew what they meant... Keep in mind other than shift hold control, right after 3rd gear there is an O/D... Which will lower your RPM a lot.. So if you driving uphill at that point, the gearbox will definitely downshift to normal 3rd gear, RPM raise a bit... Then downshift again to 2nd gear, RPM raise a lot...
To check if I am wrong, put to S mode, use the manual paddle shift mode when uphill... Change gear as if you would like a manual... You will feel it is normal. And to further elaborate, if you start accelerating uphill from idle, you will not face this since you start with 1st gear... Those unusual gear changes only occurs if you going uphill with an average speed, and as you going up,the speed going down... And the gearbox will downshift to accelerate... If you going up with a decent speed, you shall realize it only downshift once... And not with those unusual... |
