i think ppl take benzodiazepine for anti-anxiety. It is not advised for you to take benzo at such a young age. It is due to the fact that benzo causes addiction if taken at a long time. If you get addicted and try to quit, it is difficult because it will cause withdrawal symptoms like difficulty to sleep, fatigue, etc which is bad.

I understand how culture shock is like. But once you get adapted to your environment, you will be fine. Do not get intimidated by your fellow classmates because they are older than you, try to talk to them, be friendly. It may be difficult at first. But i believe all good things happen to those who persists and works hard to get what they want.
