surf with wifi is free of charge but not every place u can connect cos protect by WEP(password)...
network data connection mean u use 3G internet or edge to connect to internet and it will cost on your bill...the charges(refer to ur provider ex: maxis) will be base on how many kb u have use while u on the internet..
example my maxis postpaid:
1437kb = RM14.05

It possible when you turn on GPS, the auto setting go online is always use your telco wap first instead of wifi.

I think you might want to delete the Maxis destination point for internet access. Mine is DiGi and I deleted the diginet's, else eventhough you choose WiFi in the first place, if no connection, it will jump to use other destination point. I kena few RM because of this.

Settings -> Connectivity -> Destinations -> Internet

Inside you should see other access points beside Wifi's if you previously set any. DiGi uses Diginet, Celcom and Maxis, not sure the name. Just delete it off if you think you will have no use for it.

but...i used wifi...can wert...coz they will ask you which access point to use...i always choose my home wifi...

i'm not recommend to detele it because it helps a lot in fast positioning of GPS, and summore just need a few cents each time.
1 suggestion for u all to set ur connection as Always Ask instead of automatic

but GPS is automatic nia if i'm not mistaken
and no need to worry the AGPS feature will cause u to be charged kaw kaw.
lastnite, im trying it frm outside back to my house, approximately 5 minutes of car driving, just charged 2 cents onli

I AM a working adult, but then my family still comments on my expenditure. Well, I don't usually get expensive stuff or shop. But once I found a gadget that I really like, I would buy.

Man, this is my second phone only! The first one was Motorola C380 which I spent RM380 on it and used for 5 years even after it fell into the toilet bowl!

I can't disconnect from a wifi access point. Before that could. Now when I try to disconnect, it just won't.

When i got my tube, first thing i did was show it off to my mum. i showed her my new phone through webcam... she was like "aiyah! buy a new phone again? how much is that???" usual mummy verbal spanking.

1) I just installed Avator SMS but I can locate the Icon to launch the apps. Where was it located.

2) Also during installation, it give warning sign "only 240x320 screen size are supported....blah blah blah" Any one having similar problem during installation?

Say, the Windows Live messenger for 5800 is for HK right? I installed and some of the info were in Chinese, any English only version?
