multiplatform is good... gamers jz wanna play games regardless of the console... thus if they do get games on their console, they'll jz play it...
on the other hand, multiplatform would limit the game.. exclusive games do tend to push the boundaries of gaming: - - crysis for pc - mgs4 for ps3 - no more heroes on wii - GeoW2 for 360
optimization excels on exclusive games... unless u got a kick ass pc out there, u would be limited to the gamign experience...
ps: console do have keyboards n mouse

QUOTE(satriakid @ Jan 10 2009, 04:47 PM) Exclusivity can be done even games are multi-platformed, PS3 can have its exclusive extras or specials compare to other console or PC. It all bores down to the developers and also the market whether to consider it or not. There is no right or wrong to this. Then again, having exclusive to consoles (MGS on PS, Halo on Xbox, PC, Mario Kart for Nintendo) will also be a downside as those who wants to play those games have to get all 3 consoles which isn't cheap to begin with. coul calibur 4 anyone? now both side n play yoda/ vader!

QUOTE(K-End @ Jan 10 2009, 09:22 PM) Yep...better off buy the original one for me Multiplat can be good and bad at the same time. if taken from Dev perspective : more platform = more money (IF the game a hit) from Gamers perspective: More platfom = More choices to buy the game (but might ignite the ever-useless "Visual comparison" argument) from my perspective, as long as they didnt make a half-asses port or half-asses optimization...im ok with it pirate a blue ray disc = suicidal for the pirated peddlars... the technology to pirate is there but its nt worth the cost to pirate lol...
