Recently I've met some university doctors that is seeking for some funds to start a research that can contribute back to the society. I am wondering if there is any way to raise such funds?

I'm sorry if i have posted this in the wrong place. sweat.gif

Sure there are. First person to find a cure for cancer or AIDS is going to be famous and rich (and the company that does the research is going to be richer smile.gif ) so yea if you can do those things, lots and lots of people are going to want to fund you.

Any idea how i should get started to find such funds to help the doctors? I tried asking from some NGO and i think they prefer to fund charity that can see instant result and not results that can be seen 3-5 years later.
