Agreed ... Rodalink in Bangsar do have better stock of Dahon. If you need help, you may PM me. I will be glad to share with you my experience about folding bikes. My first folding bike is a Dahon, and it is now about 25 years old. It is still used ocassionally.

Right. I shall check out Rodalink Bangsar one of these days.

Bt, roughly, waht is the price range for Dahon bikes? Rodalink Hartamas didnt have price tags on most of the Dahons they have there, only one or two and both ranges close to RM2k or more. Which is way beyond my budget...

I am looking for smthg within the range of 1-1.3k maximum. What other cheaper alternatives to Dahon?

Ooh, that sounds interesting. Whats the name of the shop and wats the price range like? Do they have used Dahons? I dont mind other brands but prefer Dahon because they have a cycling club for owners, which I think is good la.

As long as u fold it properly it's gud to go in i suppose.

Alternatively you can put it into the bike bag before enter to the train.

I saw Folding Bike Trading (fbfoldingbike.com) company at Damansara Perdana having a few types of folding bikes. Among them Ralliart, KHS, Saab, Strida and Doppleganger. Anyone, tried these brands? any comments?
TQ.

If you are looking for folding bike, I suggest that you do a good research on the internet and talk to those who own and have been frequently using the their folding bikes in all conditions before you make your purchase. Lately, folders are attracting a lot of interest and many types are selling locally now.

Not all folders are the same. There are many good one and also some not worth what you are going to pay for. I am finding difficulty to find a local dealer or technician who is competence enough to service my SA Hub on my folder. If someone has the skill, I will be glad to discuss with him/her.

Hopefully, the present growing interest will help to develop a good following of dealers, technicians and users. .. I have a few folders and my first one is 26 years old and still using occasionally.

Hi all
Would like to ask for recommendation, I m looking for a compact foldable bike for my daily commuting, since i park my car really far from office and had to walk to get to office (sweating). Would a Strida LT bike be good for me? I need it to fold really quick, and compact enough for me to wheel it into office and store under my table, plus be able to keep inside the boot of my car (normal compact sedan). Space is a concern and in short supply, both in the car and also in office, thus I was hoping the Strida would be compact enough for me.
Thanks a lot!
