u can....

sapu the anti monkey butt cream .... tongue.gif  biggrin.gif or chamois cream....

try different saddle with groove or lobang wan.....  biggrin.gif

try a nose-less saddle.... which is most likely not available in msia...
need to import...

i hate the saddle nose ... not a racer so don't need it..

cyclist who use the drop bars in crouching position...
the perineum is resting on the nose, tht's y they need it..

cyclist sitting upright don't need the nose....

I was in Rodalink and they have a large range of seats an they are catergorised into normal riders (upright riding), athlete, racing and one more leisure. As I am riding folding, I think I am in the leisure category and I am beginning to understand why butt is painful. Then again, this issue is quite puzzling with some experts says the less contact the better while others says wider or noseless. I think the best is still trying it out albeit an expensive way.

I used to ride in Kepong layang layang park on my speed p8 where there is a place with downhill followed by uphill (near main road with surpass  a big longkang underneath), My "guesstimation" the steep around 15 meters and around 35-40 degree slope, i paddle like nobody business on 32T gear and 52T crank (my leg feel sore though  sweat.gif ). As you claim you did 12km all uphill ride on 32T gear and 52T  shocking.gif ,  am i need to upgrade "myself" instead or upgrade the gear  shakehead.gif  or actually both at once ......

Guys i have issue with the saddle, normally it happen after 10km riding, my "underneath" ( not the guli pain yeah.. whistling.gif  ) start to feel pain, last few days I manage to clock 12km and guess what, my .... got brush-burn, i already wore cycling shorts and changed the saddle, and yet this happen....... any saddle expert here can share more information ? Or what should i do to eliminate this  notworthy.gif
*
I did that on the highest gear but it was on my normal pedalling force, so it was not hard but it takes me almost an hour to reach the almost 10 kilometers. To be fair, it is not really all uphill to Genting Peras, there are a few level stages but not for long. It is more important to maintain constant pedalling without the crank being too light. Too light you will be be like a dog swimming and this tires you out even faster! biggrin.gif

It all bears down to the market quantity. There are so many models and so many types of butts and not to mention butt-heads too. Hahaha. It's not feasible. Unless you can sell maybe 1000 pieces of one kind, maybe the importer can incorporate 3 units or maybe more as cost for customers to try. Even that definitely not a few days, maybe a ride around the bike shop. Sadly, I doubt they can sell that much quantity every model.

The shop can actually let the customer try out if they want to do so. They can sell the saddle but allow the customer to change to another model later, say less than a week or maybe three days with condition that the saddle is not scratched or stained and the rails are protected with a layer of rubber before installing onto the seat post.

Then again, this is wishful thinking as some bike shops won't even entertain you let alone let you try. Hahaha.

Hi . Me again .. I just find the bike .. But need to ask the sifu here .. Which one good ? Rst suspension or kenitix q german-a? Because this jetstream got 2 type of this suspension infront ... Thanks smile.gif
*
Kinetix id the original OEM manufacturer for Dahon for the wheelsets. It is actually a US company but nowadays, you know lah, RST or Kinetix, same lah , Made In China. Sam Cheong also riding the Jetstream and off course, he has high praises for it. He is a Dahon staunch supporter.

When I was repairing my bike in Rodalink, I also saw the Jetstream there, also a MU P8 ( thumbup.gif ) and the newer Dr.Hon Boardwalk and Vybe (latest Dr.Hon), also cheaper.

I am also staying in Cheras near Balakong and I cycle in Putrajaya and Hulu Langat 18th mile. icon_rolleyes.gif

if u intend to cycle often, its good to invest in a good quality cycling pants.

for a cap ayam short, some bike shop in subang will charge u RM100+-, but can get it much cheaper depends
on shop location....
*
If you visit Direct Sports in Subang (they also have in Sogo Department Store), you can find cycling pants for around 70 bucks and also a few selection of plain colored cycling attires, also around the same price. It's under Jerry something, it's cheap though and the quality is better than the cap ayam ones.

First choice -- Eco C7 but can get it around RM1080.
Second choice -- KHS F20-A

No third choice as in your equation.

If you insist on XDS, might as well take this ;

Dahon is not bad only the newer Dr.Hons. Try to look for the older models like Speed P8, Mu P8 or even the Eco C7.

Have to use bug tar remover to wipe like mad oni can remove, n became matt finis....  doh.gif

I think it's the clear coat on the paint. The paint itself is quite tough, I know because I remove them when I re-painted mine. Below is what it looks after re-painting.

I bought 3X Sora triple crank sets at RM80 per set, 2X Shimano LX 9 speed RD at RM50 each, A Topeak pump at RM30, LX 9 speed shifters plus brake levers at RM150. Now my Eco C7s is just short of FDs to go 27 speed! I think LeRun is getting rid of all their dead stock but it's cheap. I also got a Marin road bike for RM1200 with Sora groupset.

I saw Shimano 105 components, XTR components and Shimano hydraulic brakes are going at RM100 per set. Shimano shoes are also going cheap but I don't use cleats.

Aluminium. There's only one there, so there's not much choice. Also there's a Polygon Helios but don't really like the brand Polygon.

Samosaurus, when your trip from Kuala Selangor to Teluk Intan is on, how many hours, in your opinion, it will take for an average rider to cycle?
