if it is the same model then shud be no difference, even tho make in china,
just check the dahon china website.
if u go china buy, sure cheaper....

some dahon model not sold in china is made in taiwan,
u can go to the shop there to check the 'stamp' on the bike frame,
near the crank there.

so u gona go china buy or wht??

u can go to the lerun website, they got list their dealers in pg,
got one shop i've mentioned, they have stock dahons as seen in the pictures, from
the penang foldies ride, posted earlier, just search my post.

Tern verge p18 = RM 3.8K

well i have no idea how much it cost to upgrade the vitesse p18 to these parts.
some mebe not available here, as the shops here are more cater to MTB road bikes, some fixie.

actually u can look at the bikes and compare it with the others,
check the built quality etc etc, then u will know which one is the better buy.

i think he said he go it in klang,
klang valley shop some got, but price should be a bit $$ more...

buying a bike is not that critical lar...
just like shopping for normal goods, n common sense,
but trying a bike is important too, cos u will get to feel whether u will be comfortable
with it. tho just cycle one round in front of the shop might not be enough to test
the feel.
frm wht u read here n else where online etc,
u can get lotsa infos already,
if u kenot tahan too much vibration, body will pain here there, then u shud not get a
bike like the dash p18. etc etc etc

can, the stock rim of the dash p18 will fit alot of 20' tyres, but u must make sure it has enough clearance at the calipers,
i read frm dahon forum
that switching from stock 2.0 big apples tyres that comes stock with the speed p8 to 2.15 size makes a huge difference. even bigger is 2.35.
which means any tyre that is wider than 2.0 shud make a difference, then u need to test with various tyre pressure to get the best feel for u.

looks like bigger the better from comments in the dahon forum,
lerun is the dist for schwalbe, other dealers can get from them oso, but i duno lerun got bring in size bigger than 2.0,
u can try other brand as well, price agak agak can refer to price overseas gua....

Tern bicycle problem??

was it QC problem or rider's negligence...??

recently samo blogged that his vip bos crashed his new tern Link D8,

it seems the handle post latch kenot lock, was is locked properly in the first place.... ?

the new design is suppose to be more secure than previous dahon designs...

prospect new tern owners should send this to JoHon to ask whether his QC team din check properly ......

anyway the vip got his bike replaced by the dist...
