Rapidshare is not that expensive.

If you know where to look, you'll get a 1 month premium account for only RM2#.

Only idiots would share their premium accounts with others. The download ratio is the first reason to start with.

Not everyone uses RS for pron.
I'm using RS for downloading games, applications.

The fact is, pron doesn't take much of your ratio, since most pron will only cost you around 6##MB ~ 1.#GB if it's in AVI.
Unless you're downloading HD pron, then that's another story, but then who would watch pron in HD? For me, pron isn't that worth it to be downloaded in HD.

I can finish my 15 GB ratio in only 1 day. You just have to get a clean net connection.

With torrent, you gotta think about a lot of things, with RS, the only thing you need to think about is the money you pay every month. Except for those that is getting super low ratio.

What do you need to look at when using torrent:
1. Ratio [For private tracker]
2. The time you have to wait before you get the fastest speed of your net.
3. Seeders
4. Leechers
5. Torrent stresses the broadband connection, even if your download speed is only 15 KBPs

Widest collection? I LOL'ed. With RS, you just have to know where to look, and in fact, you can even get those that you can't download on torrent.
Yes torrent may have wide collection, but think again, think about the seeders. What if that file you're going to download from torrent only has very few seeders? How long do you have to wait before the file is completed?

Remember, everything about RS has a lot to do with knowing what you're looking for and where to look at.

To me, RS is the answer. Since I've started using RS last month, I don't even have torrent application in my PC.

There's no secret and no, that 15 GB ratio I get is 24/7. Not happy hour.
That's what I get for the first month of using RS and that is also what I'm getting for the 2nd month [just renewed an hour ago].

First it starts with 10GB and then in the last 2 weeks of my first month of using RS, the ratio has been increased to 15GB.

If only we can get real 1 Megabyte/s of broadband connection in Malaysia. But instead, we're getting 1 Megabit/s.

I'm sorry but I can't share my rapidshare reseller, he has a very limited resources to get me an account that is only RM2# per month with 15 GB download ratio. If you want his contact details, You'll have to do a little googling, it took me 2 days to find him. That's why I can't share him easily.

100 Megabyte/s is a little overboard.
Even a real 1 Megabyte/s is more than enough.
1 Day = 24 Hours
1 Hour = 60 Minutes
1 Minute = 60 Seconds

1 Day = 24 Hours X 60 Minutes X 60 Seconds = 86400 ROFLMAO Seconds!

That means, with real 1 Megabyte/s, You can download 86400 Megabytes a day. That means, 86 Gigabytes.
That's why 1 Megabyte/s is more than enough.

Once you've found the right site to find the files, You'll never want to go back to torrents again.

I've tried using 60.48, 60.49, 60.50, 60.53, all the same.
I even tried changing to other Rapidshare servers but it's still the same.

I'm on a Rapidshare Premium account & I've always got 260KBPs ~ 350KBPs since the last 2 months.
But speed has been super slowmo since 3 days ago. It's ranging around 20KBPs ~ 65KBPs.

I've tried downloading an application from Microsoft's website, the download speed is normal, which is around 260KBPs ~ 350KBPs.
I even tried torrenting & I can get full speed too in torrenting.
It's like Streamyx is capping Rapidshare.

Don't be confused by my speed, yes I'm paying for Streamyx 1MB but on my modem it shows that I'm getting more than that. Weird huh?

Nay, originally, I used Streamyx 512K when I'm still a student. Upgraded my Streamyx 512K to Streamyx 1MB since 6 ~ 7 months ago.
IINM, I've been using the Streamyx 512K for 1 year before I switch to Streamyx 1MB.

Which part of PJ do you hail from?
A customer of mine living in PJ SS5 gets super low speed no matter on what IP i tried on any RS server.

I spent all my RapidPoints on 284 tickets. [Since it's a RM2# 1 month account with a 15GB download ratio anyway. ]

Euro 50,000 = RM66,428.

Not quite sure if all areas in PJ is having this problem or not, but a few of my customers from SS14, SS7 & SS5 as I've mentioned above is having the same problem.

PS: Only with Rapidshare though.
