not change the url la...ok,if there are some RS links u want to download..it is easier to highlight the links,right-click it,then use 'Download with IDM' rite?

then an IDM window pops up,checking the availability of the files...now,see the 'Download from' column..if the links shows the files is at *.l33.rapidshare.com,just check the box (to queue it). not all files would be like that from the start,so a cycle of this steps helps to ensure u got all files (or most of it) from *l33.rapidshare.com only..

What type of speed cap are you talking about?
If you're talking about Streamyx capping RapidShare user download speed, there's no such thing.

Using RS, you just have to know which IP works best with which RS server.

Your location plays an important role too. Just because you're getting the same IP as me, that doesn't mean you'll get the full speed of RS.
For example, the 3 type of IP that works best with RS for my location [TTDI Jaya Shah Alam / PJU 7 Mutiara Damansara] is 218.111.##.## / 60.48.##.## / 60.49.##.##.
However, none of these 3 IP type works fine with a customer of mine who lives in SS14 Petaling Jaya.

The tip is Cuba, Try & Test. icon_rolleyes.gif

Am I the only one having problems with RS?
Speed since last week has been 350 ~ 450KBP/s but today the speed maxxed out at only 100KBP/s.

Tested with several IP's, 60.48, 60.49, 60.50 & 218.111, all 4 of them maxxed out at only 100KBP/s.
Been using Level 3 RS server.

Malas nak test dgn server server lain.
Any ideas? hmm.gif

Speed is back to 350 ~ 450KBP/s.

Hint: Using a different RS server. brows.gif
More Hint: Switch to the most non-popular server. icon_idea.gif

Major breakdown=Once/twice+ a year.
Normal slowness=Monthly/weekly/daily, although downloading through a download manager seems fine and always get (full)good speed.

Got to give them a bit of credit for that. laugh.gif They can at least provide that speed, so it's good enough for me.
Now just need them to bloody make the 4mb package available in my area!
