hey i wanna ask you, 4-2-1 extractor does any performance to ur car? i m thinking of getting one from speedworks, hotbits

whats the 2 bullet?

mine is k&n drop in, and catalytic converter removed. change to a sports one. oklah,

now seems my car move a little faster than last time.

Added on January 9, 2009, 6:34 pmwell no worries with that. if the car dont heat up, means no smoke coming out, it is ok, i have that problem.
temp goes up to 120 red zone, but nothing happen to the car. then the fan blows all the way if u drive the car, keep it moving the temp will come down.

anyway i got it fixed. problem ? came from the grounding wires, the nuts connecting to the chasis was rusty, get that done then it never goes up again

grounding fault.

here is the list of things that was damaged
2001 model, MMC engine,

1)driver power window
2)both radiator fan >100K millage
3)3 door handles
4) compressor, i kena ketuk, spent 600 bucks on the denso model
5) my time on dashboard, bulbs. never bothered to change, change too many times
6)suspensions, all 4


well thats about it i can think off.

i also have the ngek ngek problem at the back and tok tok problem infront, drivers side, during turning also.
i think it is the manufacturing problem,

modifications ?
K&N drop in
mid sec replaced,
now wanna change to 4-2-1 extractor.

no worries man, when i had the problem, my eyes kept on the temp gauge. but after driving for so many years with that problem, i just assume it is normal, plus always on the look out, anyway now im also always on the look out. just in case something is wrong.

actually what u mean by by aircond die ? no cold air coming out or totally no air coming out ? it is 2 different things. if no cold air probably it is the compressor, plus the waja is very bad in cooling, my cold air is not cold during idle, it will be cold when the car is moving.
i believe proton took someones scrap design out and sell it to us malaysians

what i respect about my waja, is the chasis design share the same with MMC charisma and also volvo S40 2.0 T versions.

the cornering and handling is great,but very bad in noise control, and bad in performance. i mean i feel the car lags when the compressor turns on. paultan also says that. same problem in the new persona
also when i climb hill or slop, like inclining roads, the speed will reduce,
after i change cat conv, still it will lag, but can maintain on certain roads.

mine is auto, so really no kick at all,
not to say i hate the car, but i believe with the price u pay, u can get better ones in other countries, anyway we are here so i just bear with it.

ya i also know, but i very lazy to solve it, but anyhow when i m in the mechanics, i do give a good check in order for my car to run smoothly.

i was quoted 480 with installation.
