QUOTE(blackmachine @ Mar 5 2009, 04:14 PM) by the way, what is VIP rims? how we classified as VIP rim? is it brand VIP? sorry i'm a noob here bro,
Bro Zen, a friend inform me no need to change knuckle, just add a spacer so that can use PCD100, is it true/advisable? VIP is a style..big ass rims and lowered way too much and full bodykit. never put spacer as once you done so u need to do on-wheel balancing for front wheel. off-wheel balancing will cause vibration as the weight of the spacer is not balanced. on wheel = tyreman balancing ur tires back raising one side and manually adjust the weights off wheel = the usual method u normally do

QUOTE(Vervain @ Mar 21 2009, 12:35 AM) guys, if my car runs out of battery, I need to change to a new battery. I'd heard rumors that the engine will need ECU calibration to tune back. Is this true? Rumour has it will affect the transmission as well if the time taken for btry swap is only a few minutes then the ECU will not loose its settings. If you leave it for too long then the car if u hv a autobix the gearshift will be very rough and jerky. u can either drive on and it'll auto correct after 100km or get it reloaded back to default which will cause u money. either way works. Added on March 21, 2009, 9:13 amQUOTE(jolipoli81 @ Mar 21 2009, 05:24 AM) I own a 2003 waja 1.6 A/T I'm thinking of changing the brake calipers, just wondering if the Brembo is worth the penny? how much does it usually cost and how many types are there that fits the Waja? no need brembo ler..besides becareful of fakes out there. r u running on stock engine and internals without force induction no need to change. just spend the money on better pads and steel braided hose for better braking feel under hard braking.
