total Proton brand new parts: RM 5,900 (ECU) + RM 1,100 (harness) + RM 640 (solenoid valve x 4) - exclusive of labor
my aim to get used parts: RM 400 (ECU) + RM 200 (harness). the valves have to use new ones lar....
although this is an isolated case, for me proton failed big time. but i still have faith in them with the upcoming mistubishi waja lancer

last time my ecu burnt also due to timing belt installation problem.cost me a bomb..
i bought used mmc ecu for waja..rm900 from penang ..those used ecu very hard to find..but heard they said our burnt ecu can be repair..about 400 like that
