Much better. Toggle on/off fly mode built in should update it.
After reboot, fly mode launched and off in few sec. Telco should appear then.

anyone suffering any issues when upgrade to 0.9.6?
i dont wanna messed up my fwen's Iphone.
His already working fine on 0.9.5..

but...u know...my hand kinda itchy telling me to upgrade,but at the same time dont wanna go through any tedious methods to unlock using yellowsn0w again.

mine now on 0.9.5.. last day lost signal for 1 day.. remove and install it again and now it works again. Waiting for few day to upgrade to 0.9.6.

very unstable for now huh? its like chipsmore... kejap ada kejap tak dak!

i think u shud upgrade to 0.9.6..i juz read a lot of comments saying it all works like charm without having to do the Plane ON and OFF method after re-inserting the sim.

if its stable.. why dont try right? no harm done there...

i've did two phones on 0.9.6 today.

I did it just now. It was fine. After I switched off and on again the iphone, the signal 'Searching' came up on screen and a few seconds later 'MY CELCOM' signal appeared!

No more sliding the aeroplane mode to on and off and on an off and on and off.........Phew!

The only oustanding work from the i Dev Team is to allow SIM PIN lock for yellowsn0wed iphones......

i'm on 0.9.5 beta now. so basically just uninstall the current one, download & install 0.9.6 then i'm good to go? or i need to go thru all those mobile terminal steps again?

supposely like tht lah... its more stable now it seems...

actually when i finished uninstalling the 0.9.5 beta off my iphone, suddenly the install menu came up prompting me to install the 0.9.6 beta version. so i just hit the install blutton and it's installed! i switched off the phone, and on again, and ......the phone search for the signal and MY CELCOM came up.

Today, I have problem with my iphone which is unlocked with 0.9.4.
I uninstalled the 0.9.4 and install with 0.9.5 --> reboot --> MY CELCOM signal appears!

All of the features was working excellently except when I make a call, it always showed "CALL FAILED".
After some debugging, I realized that I have need to change "SHOW MY CALLER ID" to "ON".
Then, it works perfectly!

I believed this 0.9.6 is much easier to unlock as compared to 0.9.5 as described my Dev Team and has got many good comments from around the world.

it will even prompt you to install? installed thru cydia or installer?

What a week!

What a week it’s been for the 3G unlock! Here’s where we’re at:

Past

* As predicted in our beta release post, expanding yellowsn0w from dev team testing to worldwide usage revealed some unexpected situations.
* Thanks to specific feedback from you on our reporting page, we’ve been able to tweak the method by which yellowsn0w injects the unlocking payload. We believe we’re converging on a method that works for most cases.

Present

* The current beta version of yellowsn0w is 0.9.6, available via Cydia. Please refer to our beta release post for more technical info about how to install and use it.
* Although ultimately the payload is the same as in the very first beta, we’ve changed the way that it’s injected into the baseband.
* Although some of you have invested time and energy in coming up with a very specific flow that works for you, the best way to first try 0.9.6 is as-provided, straight out of the box with no special usage around it.
* Please continue to provide feedback on our reporting page so that we can iron out wrinkles.

Future

* One major feature we have left to provide support for is PIN locking. We have dabbled in this a bit and think we have a solution, but want to make that a separate effort from making yellowsn0w work with as many SIMs as possible.
* At that point, we can probably declare yellowsn0w out of “beta” status.
* The “permanent” unlock is still the ultimate goal for some of us. We’d like to break the chain of trust a bit earlier in the boot process (if only for the fun in trying).

just did mine via Installer and it worked.

uninstall 0.9.5 then install 0.9.6 then reboot. as simple as that.
