I read a more detailed article on this somewhere but I can't quite remember what website where they reported that Arshavin will only top that 5 million if he signs a contract which matches his current wages at Zenit of 85 k a week which would put him on par with Cesc on the Arsenal pay roll.

Well I think if he does top up the 5 million himself I would think that its fair we offer him the 85k a week he wants IMO. Will be the same as 15 + 5 like we initially offered if earlier reports are true.

I'll try find the link when I get home from dinner if you guys want it but meh.... probably it would have already been reported by another website and you guys will probably have seen it by then anyway.

We do not need arshavin. That's it. Not at the price that is mentioned at the press. Who knows that he will not make trouble at the club. I think that there are still other areas that need improvement but it is certainly not in the midfield side. We still have vela.

uh.. excuses ? as far as i see... those are sources from news where ppl quote from. At least it quotes AW. where do you justify what you say ? what are your "sources" ? as far as i can see i've never saw any credible "excuses" (as u call it) backing up anything u say at all. Everything you say it's simple unfactual unbacked up.

RyanAtWood has gotten them "straight from the horse's mouth" right from Arsenal.com, did you get your backing (or as you called them- excuses) from anywhere? (and casanova88.com don't count =P lol )

As far as i can see, he does not need to validate that, those ARE his validation, where is yours ? you're always deeming other ppl's sources as "excuses" while you're lazy work without any research at all is deemed the right opinion of your own. Correct me if im wrong but i've never seen any credible sources or thoughtful opinion go the record here and you go on rubbishing everyone's justified opinions and well thought out with your own opinions that are very much not well thought out and very much based from what you feel.

I don't think it's fair at all. Everyone does their bit and you just waltz in and everyone's "work" is rubbish compared to your opinion. Just look back at how every debate went, while everyone went with their opinions, you try to push your opinions into everyone. Everyone has different of opinion, you can share it but you don't have to get everyone (or in this case try to jammed it down their throats) to agree with you. And it's an exchange of opinion, respect other's opinion as you would like yours , but i've seen you go on personal attacks, calling other ppl's opinion a joke. (I'm sure you'll trip if i call your opinions a joke)

If you think im picking a fight with you, if you feel hurt, then im sorry, im not trying to pick a fight with you. But what you've been doing is not fair and your argument seems to divert to something else when ppl try a reasoned debate with you head on.

1)You dismiss other ppl's sources which is either from credible papers or from arsenal themselves ie above.
2)When ppl ask you for your backing of your view or your opinion (when ppl actually wanted to hear you out) you'll say you're too tired to pursue the topic.

It seems to me (i'll be happy to be proven wrong, and i'll humbly stand corrected as always) that you just like to play judge and sit on your "peddestle" and criticise other ppl's thoughts and make personal attacks by calling their comments a joke, rubbishing them, calling them excuses. And i've not seen anything constructive come out from your criticism, neither have i seen you contribute anything remotely thoughtful or constructive to the discussion in the forum, merely airing out your feelings. This is a forum, a place to exchange opinions above all, not an Malaysian idol contest to judge each other's opinions. (and criticising ppl's opinions can make you feel better than others which is natural for ppl to want to do it for themselves)

Now, i guess i should expect a tirade of personal attacks on me soon. Have i ever made a personal comment or attack on you ? have i made a judgement on your character? All i did was made note of all your actions. I didn't call you anything. But i've brought up what you've done, not what you are.

Now take a step back. Look back at the pages. If you were not casanova88 and another user responding to him. how would you react to the way casanova88 addressed you? would you be surprise that people react in a hostile manner to you? it is no diff to how you react to their reaction when some of them make a personal attack on you does it ?

You want people to respect you? respect others , you want people to acknowledge your opinions? think them through, back them up. That is your statement? Why ? Assuming you're in college im sure every essay needs an evidence and real life example, to back up what you're saying. In this forum we don't NEED to do that, but at least in the logical manner EXPLAIN why you think so. People may disagree and most of the time, they'll tell you why, thats ok, you don't have to get all worked up. Respect the difference in opinions and move on, it's your choice to agree with him or disagree with him and either of that you should provide a reason why so everyone understands. Understanding is the nature of the game in forum discussion isn't it? It should not be an option to abuse other people's opinions should they differ from yours. (If you think you didn't just take a look back). Best rule of thumb is "If you've got nothing good (constructive) to say, don't say it at all"

This season he is a total mess & not useful for Blackburn....

He only started 8 matches in league thus far, scoring 2 and assisting 1.

Not bad I would say and after all we know Ince din do a "mark hughes" in Blackburn.So, we cant blame him for not performing, can we? In fact, the whole squad din perform.
