It was confirmed earlier by Sky that the FA had received a fax from Arsenal regarding a deadline extension.
15m is just about right. Arshavin is class and if you have been following Zenit's games through last season's UEFA Cup and their UCL games this season on a regular basis then you would know. Too good a player for a team like Zenit.

The thing is that can we trust Sky's report? The thing is that it has a certain level of inaccuracy. Lets see.

7.42 The whereabouts of Andrei Arshavin are still shrouded in mystery. Sky Sports News reports the Russian playmaker is in London in anticiption of undergoing a medical but it is understood Arsenal and Zenit St Petersburg are still to agree a fee.
15.48 At last Arsenal and Zenit St Petersburg have finally agreed a fee for the transfer of Andrei Arshavin to the Gunners. The deal is still to be finalised though with Arshavin and the Russians still to sort out a final payment. It is understood Arshavin will wear the number 13 shirt.
17.30 Associated Press are claiming Andrei Arshavin's move to Arsenal is off after the two clubs failed to agree a deal in time. We will keep you up to date on skysports.com to tell when any move is made official.
Wooah!
2. The reason they priced him 15m is because it's their MVP in the team. But, can he do it as well in Arsenal? We don't know. Secondly, is he worth that MUCH or not? He's 27 going 28, Played at Zenit, what about in England? It's different. AW knows what's he's doing.
That's the thing. So, IMHO, it's a little bit over priced.
