I guess Arsenal requested for the extension because they're trying to sign Arshavin or they're trying to sign someone else.

How sure are you sure that they requested an extension?

I mean come on, we all know the deal itself is ridiculous. 15m for a euro 08 star? Hell, no way. We might be over-paying for a player. AW should be smart enough to be patient. Zenit is asking to much. They should really go look themselves properly in the mirror.

It was confirmed earlier by Sky that the FA had received a fax from Arsenal regarding a deadline extension.

15m is just about right. Arshavin is class and if you have been following Zenit's games through last season's UEFA Cup and their UCL games this season on a regular basis then you would know. Too good a player for a team like Zenit.

The extension is irrelevant now.. The papers has been sent to the Fa.. What i and Millions of suffering gooners want to know if an agreement between the club has been reached.. Been reading some source.. The deal can still be on..

Zenit has just actually signed a player to MAYBE replace Arshavin, I believe. Have to wait for official news though.

I'm watching Skysports right this instance and the reporters at the Emirates stadium are saying everything has been done (i.e the fee, paperwork, medical,etc). And from the reporter's words, Arsenal strongly believe that the deal has been done.

I dont know what to believe already. rclxub.gif
