I actually contemplated between this G500 and Sidewinder X8. Accuracy is excellent on G500. It's the rough sandy surface on the grip that made me think of refunding. There is also no room to rest my little finger, unlike typical Microsoft mouse.
Well, I think I am not going to return the mouse. It's pretty good after some real game test. |

QUOTE(XiuKeong @ Nov 7 2009, 11:20 PM) Yes, somewhat like sand paper also. Read my post in Gaming mouse thread: http://forum.lowyat.net/index.php?showtopi...post&p=29781917 Added on November 7, 2009, 11:28 pmAny existing G500 users? If there's no issue with the build quality, I'll just stick to this G500. I've tested l4d a little on it and it feels pretty good. This post has been edited by mengsuan: Nov 7 2009, 11:28 PM |

QUOTE(XiuKeong @ Nov 7 2009, 11:30 PM) I didn't know that I'm fast. QUOTE(yuktsi14 @ Nov 8 2009, 02:21 AM) I've used MX518 too; G500 is slightly taller, just a very little longer. The G500 has larger recessed area to place your thumb.The old MX518 peels in just months. Hopefully my G500 doesn't distort. LOL |

QUOTE(Json188 @ Nov 16 2009, 03:45 AM) is there anyone already bought g500? If you just read 1 page before you post, it is obvious that I've bought a G500. There is no rubber coating in this mouse. Only rough plastic surfaces for grip. I also read of poor build quality reviews but I have yet to encounter any issue so far. It still looks like new.i read reviews where it says Rubber coating peels off within weeks. i'm not sure how the rubber coating can peels off? anybody encounter this problem yet? |
