microsoft plenty of it if you wan long lasting battery i suggest you don get new blue tooth technology set
take old set they got a long wire connect to the transceiver means it got wire for the transceiver you can hide it behind you lcd or anywhere the keyboard and mouse itself is wireless the batter of this type of set can last for i think at least more than 3 month..not very intense usage can last for half year

QUOTE(epie @ Oct 23 2010, 10:02 PM) i stop gaming edy if i wanna use it for gaming might as well i keep my current g15 i just wanna use it for normal use...so the factor that i consider are battery life - Depending on the usage. Mouse battery can last for few months or even a year but it is very subjective as not all batteries are the same. Keyboard definitely longer than the mousebasic media key function - It has all the basic media key that a user needpalm rest - I don't think have palm rest. Not sure though good feeling - I think it is similar with EX110 since it's the replacement

Well, from what I know the Logitech staff told me it can last almost a year for a mouse battery. But none really get that far

yup 1 year unless maybe you just use your computer 2 hours perday otherwise i don think it last that long
anyway if say using wireless keyboard or mouse which use AA battery then just get rechargeable battery for it then even though it just last for 2 month then also is ok
Added on October 24, 2010, 12:29 ami not sure about the microsoft wireless arc keyboard is how much..but it size really small and thin..look grand also save space for working desk as well i think is good for office use and for a retired gamer ^^

I also think laser is better. Much more convenient when going outdoor.
But the mouse you better check it out first. Later the design doesn't suit you.
