Netbooks in my opinion, in general they are all the same in terms of processing power (on atom processor).. but you can look for things that can make it snappier.. such as faster HDD, bigger RAM, leaner OS, bigger battery capacity..

The HP Mini 2140 does offer all the above which I've mentioned with 7200RPM HDD, Max 2GB RAM, runs on Win XP, 3 Cell battery (3 hrs 25 mins) and 6 Cell battery (7 hrs 14mins). However it is not the lightest at 1.19 Kg, but this is due to it's chassis which is made from magnesium aluminum and aluminum hinges which in simulated test shows it will lasts for 6 years of open and closing the lid ten times a day. I think it is a fair trade off for a more robust chassis.

Besides that HP has the most comfortable keyboard with 92% from full sized and that magnesium aluminum chassis makes it look neat (just like a macbook).

Checked today on the web.. still not arrived in Malaysia T-T
