Don't know where to put this, but I figured might as well post it here because I think wallydragon was in that game too . . . FpS . . .

You see last night while playing Upheavel there was this player PETSHOPBOYS whom seem to be immortal. His outlook was somewhat different - German uniform with goggles, more similar in fashion to those Uber Soldat in Return to Castle Wolfenstein, with the darker appereance and all. He went for knifing spree concluding the round at 39 - 0, of course he said he didn't hack or anything - pinch of salt, but in the previous map, Airfield, his gameplay would seem normal.

Anyone have any idea what's going on? Hack? Glitch? Supernatural?

Yes, I've observed there's alot of 'pro's like those in FpS. One of the new feature I’ve encountered recently was when I was killed by a guy in second chance with a TT-33 that fire in 3 round burst ; Holy Sh*t it’s a Glock 18 !!!

Recently my friend profile just got wiped clean for no apparent reason. First he was joining MBT server, then he got one of the usual error message when unable to establish connection, next thing he know his 10th Prestige scores and achievements is now reset back to 0. What gives? And is there any way to sort of retrieve his profile back? We even tried System Restore but that didn’t solve the problem either . . .

Any feedback on the matter is very much appreciated.

In the mean time, PTRS-41 ftw!! T&C applies.

Actually there's 2 profiles on the PC that I've System Restored, profile 1 = the operational one and profile 2 = the affected one. The thing after system restored both profiles retains its statistics, i.e. no difference between before and after system restored. Meaning to say the profile folder in User – [Username] Local – App Data – Activision – profile – [profile name] doesn’t really store the profile stats . . .

So I would like to know is it possible to backup profile in the first place, and if possible how can it be done?

The patch working fine.

Three new maps = Knee Deep, Station and Nightfire, first map being Japanese map while the other two are German, with lots of concealed spots, half demolished structures aplenty and pretty large map to boot, Rattenkrieg at its best. Haven't play the nazi_zombie_asylum yet, maybe later today ;p

Last night was the gaming good ; good ping and good attendance, but I think they should change "Nemesis" to "PwnG" and "PwnD" like how KolRapskinMy was PwnG ItuKamu and/or when ItuKamu was PwnD by KolRapskinMy. "Nemesis" just doesn't do justice for both the pawners and the pawnees.

Still felt very lost in Nightfire but the ambient was good, until then PTRS ftw!

How’s the MW scene lately? If I were to play MW I’ll try out M14 and M21 first, the design simply appeals to me. Hey, how about you play some WaW and try out the father and grandfather of M14 & M21, the M1 Garand and the Springfield M1903 respectively. It’ll be great to get to know the family members.

And if M14 and/or M21 is not your thing, you can meet up with Mosin-Nagant, who were guarding the Motherland before SVD did. And there’s the grand daddy of ALL assault rifle, the StG44. And do you know in those days rifle grenade launcher actually fires a hand frag grenade?? Bet you can’t stuff a hand grenade into your M203 40mm rifle grenade launcher, don’t cha??

What’s that? We don’t have helicopter you say? Yes we may not have helicopter and such in our battlefield but our dogs can float through barriers and storm into buildings. Finally our PTRS-41 can be compacted into 1 man handle all rounder package, I can blow up tank and I can pop body parts with it. *splat*

You see CoD WaW is a vibrant and colorful thing but it’s getting late. And as such, I hope to see you in the battlefield. Support MBT server, support Malaysian CoD WaW scene. CoD WaW mau dan boleh!

I got that one covered ; I've entered Prestige and at the moment I have nothing but my Thompson to rank up the score. My Thompson has the suppressor and my Springfield has the bayonet, the rest of the weapon = Untouch.

Between Springfield and PTRS, the former has a slightly longer scope in animation compared to the latter, but that being said, the delay allow one, or possibly make it easier to do the quickscope – well not that it matter if you stumble good players . . . and all that being theorycraft of course ;p

Why sometimes I still heard those *bleep* conversation over voice chat, even though I’ve manually turned off the voice chat feature. Usually I get pieces of the conversation, sometimes, however, the conversation will be a debate about who’s the n00b-ier player, you-want-a-piece-of-me-boy talk, flying curse-a-ton, and meet me in limbo so I can smack you upside down, beach, n00b you this . . . grrr . . .

Thankfully, this only happens in oversea game server, e.g. FpS, wodgamers, etc. Good ‘ol MBT server is clean from such distasteful flamer troller culture, Bravo!! The server does, however, sometimes, have players that can shoot Gewehr as fast as the MP40 – “Outstanding Marine!! Out-fcuk1ng-standing!!”. I wonder if the Microsoft Sidewinder allows me to shoot like that . . .

Hmm, need to frag a bucketload more now so that I can earn my Cooperhead ;p

Anyway, in my opinion, the submachine gun is way too good ; two three “burps” and you’re down. It’s impossible to outgun the Type 100 in a CQC scenario with a Garand even with Steady Aim, at least I never have a great deal of success with that. Probably need to play more defensively with the Garand.

My friend tried and it work - scroll to shoot. But he soon discovered that panning and scrolling to score a kill need some getting use to be use effectively. Nice trick!! Reminds me of the ol' days with me Mirco Genius and its A & B turbo buttons ;p Unable to fully utilise it though, unfortunately . . .

My friend again had another one of his profile statistic reset to 0. Prestige 2 level 64 gone in seconds. For no apparent reason. Join game. Unable to join. Then. Statistic reset to 0. Tragic.

sounds like your sidewinder could use more tlc there. but anyhow how much moolah it takes to make you depart from the sidewinder anyway?? i'm curious, therefore i asked. my palm is like 7.5in x 4.3in so just maybe can be a good fit to a sidewinder

well some people got l33t talent, while guys like me develop an edge by using l33t gear to compensate for the lack of talent Sidewinder, for a better slap shot - everytime.

We’ll just have to wait for the official news from the MBTs, hopefully they are actually undergoing a major server upgrade instead of the demise of our beloved Malaysia own dedicated CoD WaW server.

Anyway there’s another Malaysia CoD WaW server, ServerParkMY. ServerParkMY can go haywire sometimes, e.g. 30 points = Victory, and Nazi Zombie Asylum got into the map rotation (older patch maybe), and of course low attendance probably due to its mint condition. So beside ServerParkMY, my server rotation would be GamingSA (Aus), Internode (Aus) and/or FpS (HK), but rumor has it that FpS is littered with hackers . . .

Yeah, I've have retired my Kar98 as well, however the PTRS-41 is still doable, and guns such as Garand, StG44, FG42 specially, can now take center stage.

SnD is the fastest way to up thy level IMO especially when attendance is somewhat low, i.e. easier for one to plant and/or difuse the bomb.
