Yeah, the hackers playground. I could name a few that I suspect too skillful to be true, but you know, if I name names that would make me look like a grouch whiner, and the possibility of incoming retaliating flak shots, and that’s not the image I want to project to my clan and family members, you know but I think consistent numbers like 50+ over 20- per game is more like a dead giveaway in that area, you know – furthermore MsJoeHsP, sevtec, airzalweng, and the legendary GasJomun . . . he’s the best one I ever knew, and I quote,

“. . . you’re death before you can lift up your weapon.”

They all can do that to you consistently in typical SMG range. "Gifted" players usually have score per minutes of 30+, from my observation. Infact 3 out of 4 of the above wield Type 100, MsJoe prefers bolt action. Astute players will notice that in order to take down these “gifted” players, you need to take them out from a distance, but even so you’ll have 50/50 chance at that.

Take for instance, my confrontation with Mr Gas in the map Downfall, both of us were literally at the other end of German spawn point, me at left he’s at right, I’ve just exited the partly demolished bunker heading to the tank and he was galloping towards tree fence area, then we spotted each other about the same time – I was using my beloved PTRS-41 while Mr Gas there wield his trusty Type 100 submachinegun, and he nail me in two burst, like pprrt pprrt, and “I’m gone”. Managed to zoom in but didn’t manage to lock on target.

Now the moral of the story is . . . when up against “gifted” player, discretion is the better part of valor, that is avoid scenario where they have the upperhand, i.e. face to face medium range combat. The “You want a piece of my boy!?” attitude is really not helping when up against such “gifted” players. Save your energy and effort for that perfect headshot.

My friend noticed a trend of these “gifted” players of late, they appeared to be manually swaying their crosshair a little to the left and right in their attempt to disguise their unprecedented to lock on their target effortlessly, so as to make it appear as they were actually spraying and not atauoim bot-ing. Cool. Ah Weng were spotted performing the said stunt about 2 – 3 weeks ago. Cool. But then again, I haven't shot Ah Weng and vice versa for quite some time now so, yeah . . .

And there you have it, product out of boredom. But I’ll truly miss the MBT server, because it is there I feel I am at my best. Go go 26 streak!!

@ suk

Jump into the multiplayer battlefield already? I tell ya’ the multiplayer will get you more a hook on than the campaign. Check out the list above#124 for the good ping server ip.

@ wallydragon

Any news on the up coming independant server ?? Didn’t notice any local server last night, or is it exclusive ??

Took me X8 for a spin last night, worked as advertised, i.e. flawless wireless, solid build, long lasting battery, etc. Haven’t found a real use for the thumb buttons and/or macros yet, probably something to help me with me PTRS, e.g. one button for quick scope, the other for drop shot. Different gliders, a.k.a feet, does provide different friction level and thus different fluidity level. However I’m sticking to the black gliders because I cannot bear to see the white and gray gliders get stained. Haha!!
