Argh...Finally got the courage to do it. This time didn't give face, really "gan gan lai" open the cover, and I made it.

I notice unbending the pins doesn't make sense. To fix it, you must make sure both earpiece pins is contacting the PCB firmly. So, I actually bend it 'upwards'. Here's my 'personal' guide

anyone help me with 1 - 1 replacement.. i bought at atlantis and found out my unit is defect. the earpiece problem and the loose joint within the front cover and body.. its not just light leakage, but the joint is loose so that u can press it feels very loose.. can i just send to nokia service center and ask for replacement? or i go to atlantis?

Ya ... default browser is improved alot compare to the old version of the default browser. I have a mini opera installed, but I always used the defalt browser, default browser not only fast, but the way it rendering the page also quite nice compare to mini opera. The only disadvantage is it will close all browser when u click on close.

About the DIY earpiece, I think the most challenging part is open up the front cover. Once opened, as shown by jye'n, take out the earpiece, bent the two golden fingers upward so that it would touch the mainboard connectors. I was blur as well that the other site suggest to bend it down as well, meaning the earpiece will not have any contact at all with the mainboard. After bending, put it back nice and firmly, install back everything.

On a side note to be caution at, upon lifting up the front cover, instead of taking it off upwards, do it by turning around the top corner as shown in the picture, so you won't break the interjoint connector.

Hopefully there are other colours on sale. Would love to have a bright + non transparent guitar pick instead.
