The most biggest risk is the whole suit would probably be disassembled and rebuilt back again and the collar, shoulder, chest area are the hardest to alter. You might end up with a dud later. Experienced used suit owners would tell you taking in 4 inches is too much than taking in 1 - 1.5 inch everywhere.
