Hi there, do you guys think it will be a smart idea if I take my dad's suit which is waay oversized for me and tailor it? Its quite a nice piece of double breasted navy suit and he got it done at about 1k maybe about a decade back? Were fabrics cheaper last time? If its possible for you guys, estimate what would be the value of the suit right now? biggrin.gif

Yall' would probably tell me to decide myself on weather i should or should not tailor the suit but there is one thing, im only 17 and im afraid what if, what if growth decides to be an ******* and maybe start growing again after I got the suit altered? Is it possible to 'un-alter' the suit?
Thank you!

I got a question, a suit from topman fits my shoulder snuggly, but the waist and chest might be a little bit big. should i get it and just do some minor altering from a tailor outside? thanks!

which tailors would you guys recommend for some minor alteration along the suit sleeve and waist? Not too expensive too, thanks!

I wouldn't f*** with a suit but to each their own.

I get stuff altered at Pinky's in Sungei Wang but I guess any tailor could sort you out.

Hi everyone, quick question. Why is the chest region of my suit so crumply?

And is it compulsory to get a new suit of the racks to a dry cleaner? Or to use it first before sending it in? Thanks!

Your jacket is too tight, it shows at the buttoning point.

Dry clean as little as possible.Preferably once a year, maximum 4 times a year.

Yeah man, I thought it was expensive until you guys talked about making suit 1-2k last few pages.

Any ways I dont mind RM450 even its cheap as long as she can get me my right size.

Thanks biggrin.gif
