TS i need help,
i bought a topman skinny jeans not long ago. And realized it was abit too long for me so the btm part is abit baggy, so i sent it to the tailor to cut the length..around 2 inches. And after i tried it on, the length is perfect for me. But the thing is, the shape of the skinny jeans no more already. Its like...it doesn't look like a skinny jeans anymore after you wear it. So is there any way the tailor can tighten it to make it skinny-looking? I am deeply depressed..cause the jeans is really expensive. Kinda regret sending such exp jeans to modify it T T

have you ever encountered any prob like me?

That is a normal consequence of shortening your pants due to how skinny pants are cut - they narrow down from the waistband to the cuff.

Have it sent to the tailor (yet again) and this time ask for the pair of pants to be trimmed down back to its skinny cut. If I remember correctly, certain alteration shops in KL charge around RM50, if not more, for that.

I think it is actually wiser to get another pair since it is just a pair of Topman jeans.

haih..its my first time..but i learnt my lesson. So its possible right? to make it skinny again? I really like that jeans, and it costed me around RM160+, so you think i should buy a new one?

People undergoing puberty and on their way to adulthood has the biggest headaches! Most would rather get a slightly longer pair and stack or roll their cuffs instead of hemming.
Possible. I advise you to get a proper price quote from the tailor and then make the decision since different places charges differently for alterations.
If you live in a small town like a few of the forumers here, you might even be surprised at how low they can charge for the job.

It is how the edges of the denim are finished off with self-edging to prevent fraying. Definitely a sign of quality.

If you are chinese, just tell her: "Ngo yiu tip keok. Sat dou hou chi bao jung gum yong"

Better yet, show her a picture of skinny fit on your handphone, laptop or printed paper:
