Does anyone know a tailor who would make a 2 piece suit for below RM500?

Usually in the region of how much?
Any good one to recommend?

For formal clothes, I'll usually go for double ply, full cotton. Rm250-Rm300 depending on the tailor or material. I don't have much experience around kl, usually I make it in Thailand where I can get the same quality for rm180 😆

Seems like need to hunt else place.

1 of my friend ask me go search around in Sg. Wang plaza. What do you think?

I had 2 made in Page tailor. Didn't wanna recommend because he mentioned that it was full cotton but I realised it was cotton blend after a few month. I was still new to tailors at that point of time.

Nevertheless, the cutting is good. Single ply, cotton blend around 180

Whats the average price for a set of suit with trousers at Lord's?
Looking to make one for wedding.

I have no experience in Lord's but I'm guessing it starts at 3-4k

Your range is for the most basic of suits? Would you know about others like Ah Loke and Wardrobe?

I went to Sacoor Brothers a few weeks back and their staff was telling me they use much better fabric than that of some tailors like Lords etc. Suits are around 4-5K each but they always have sales of up to 50%. Also would like to share that they offer free tailoring services as well.

I did a basic suit at Ah Loke around 2014 or 2015 for Rm1.4k. A friend of mine made it in Wardrobe for 4k and he mentioned that it was quite low end for that shop. But his suits material is definitely better than mine.

Sacoor fabric may be better than tailors but altering a ready made suit may not give the same result as a tailored suit 😃
