once when we had an interview to recruit people, there was an applicant who got masters from diploma in 4 years... my boss straight away give negative comments about the applicant.. the applicant jump from diploma to degree in3 yrs and added an extra year then got a masters through some private uni arangement.. he said that how can u trust a 1 yr master.. ppl take at least 2 yrs for masters... research field requires experience and nobody gonna trust a shallow experience masters or phd

But i thought most of the MAsters in UK are only one year programme. Even University of Cambridge offers 1 year Masters program
