TV series are damn addictive. Got myself Damages season one BD. Haven't seen it on TV before. Earlier today I though wanna watch a bit of the first episode only, just to know what the series is about. I ended up watching six episodes in a row. Now thinking might as well finish the balance seven episodes tonight

For those of you who hate grains in movies like Black Hawk Down or 300, where it was done so on purpose, try looking for calibration settings on the AVS forum to eliminate them for your particular TV model. After applying those settings on my tv, the grains are barely noticeable from 5-6 feet away from a 40" TV. The trade-off is that the picture looks slightly soft, loose a bit of detail

I know, but some people really do detest them

LOL I just found out that there will be Crank 2, coming out in April. After what happened at the end of the first movie, didn't really expect a sequel

I'm watching Ip Man right now and have no problems at all with the AQ and PQ. In fact they're superb!

I turned off the 100hz feature of my Samsung A750 as I hated it. Just for kicks I rewinded back to the dinner scene and set the 100hz to high. Lo and behold, there were some pretty nasty ghosting at its full glory
