yeap.. you can turn it on/off. At first I turn it on ( it has low, medium, high setting) for playing games coz i love seeing those alien creeping at real life speed in Dead Space. and turn it off when watching lovey-dovey movie to make it look film-like. usually i forgot to turn it and it's on all the time. so now I'm used to it and still feeling the film-like effect even it's on.

btw, CG movies look great on AMP. I watched Mada2 and Monster Inc recently and both of them are awesome.

bro aiman.. u mean to say we can choose to turn on or off 24fps? where can we do this.. at tv or receiver or ps3?

Eh, you guys never explore your PS3 yet? Go to video settings, there's option to turn 24p to on/off/automatic.

My BD35 also has this option.

Guys, need help/advice here.
This morning while i was playing games, it hangs and the screen goes blank. i thought it was just plain hang so i just switch off and go to sleep.

then just now, when i switch on my ps3 game, the game doesnt appear in the menu anymore as though there was no disc inserted.

i took out the disc and found that the crack in the middle of the disc has finally reach the data section by a bit only. all this while there is a crack but it just affect the plastic section and cause no harm.

the console cant read the disc anymore as it seems, so what can i do? actually i know there isnt much hope but just wanna try my luck.
