Well, i heard people have spend only around RM60+ on Pos Laju back to Crucial so, i am not sure why Pos Laju is charging me RM120+. Never bother to ask anyway. LOL...

Anyway, sopen2003, they will give you a RMA number. From there, they will ask u to write a provided address onto the box which contains your RMA# as well. So, you dont need to write them seperately. Besides, you will need to slip in the email provided into the packaging as well.

maybe u can use fedex.. but price im not sure.. as akachester  say, he using pos laju rm120..  sweat.gif  if we got MOQ till 12, is ok.. hehe..

if not, just use pos daftar.. within 14~17day will arrive, but we create the rma on the 7~8day after we done postage, how?  brows.gif

@amirsubhi
do we need to write down the rma number at the box/parcel?
*
well..u need to write the rma no at the address..well basically they will told u to post to the address they given..and that address there were ur rma number

u also need to print a copy of ur order and put it on the box before u wrap it up..

basically crucial guide to package the item is much more lenient than seagate.

p/s:posdaftar also can be insured dpend on how much u want ...big different of both is the speed...hehe..nyway to me both is realiable...

Poslaju also would charged me RM120 if want to send parcel to USA...

DHL fees is less than RM200... sweat.gif

Never did try to ask about the pricing for Registered Mail... maybe the price is the same with Semenanjung Malaysia.

Well, basically, you cant sent them before getting the RMA#. The RMA# would need to be included in the shipment to let Crucial know which RMA case it had been assigned to. I believe you can send them after obtaining the RMA#. Some had taken more than 20 days and is still processed by Crucial. Else, just have a couple of friends and share the Pos Laju cost.

Anyway, still waiting for acknowledgement on Crucial though. Send mine last 2 weeks and not sure whether they have receive it or not.

thanks all for the input
please give suggestion on how to apply the rma..

Is it we all apply seperately but send together by me?
or
I collect all the ram and send under my name alone?

@sopen2003
MOQ 12 is too much..prefer to keep it below 5.

Well, not sure whether you could apply it under one name or not but when filling the RMA form, they will ask you for information regarding the specific pair of ram. I believe you can list them all together in the list (probably have 5 space their for filling details) and they will send you 1 RMA number for all the models.

Else, try emailling Crucial regarding this but they tend to reply really really slow.

Multiple Crucial Rams RMA Guide:
* 1. Email Crucial stating that you want to RMA with the model number & batch number for each kit & the quantity of each model from the same batch.
Example:
user posted image
* 2. Once You got the reply with the RMA number, create a commercial invoice.
* 3. Print 3 copies of the email replied by Crucial & 3 copies of the commercial invoice you've just created.
* 4. Put all the rams in the packaging of your choice together with the 3 copies of the email replied by Crucial containing the RMA number.
* 5. Go to the courier center of your choice and fill everything in the form and submit the package together with the 3 copies of commercial invoice to the officer in charge.

PS:
* akachester, I don't know why you were charged RM120 by Poslaju for submitting just one ram, it should only be RM70.
* To all misunderstanding customers of mine, No, I did not overcharge the RMA charges, I send each RMA using FedEx International Priority® which costs RM170 for just one ram. You pay RM60 and I paid RM110. The reason why I use FedEx International Priority® is because of their priority in delivering the item to the destination in just 1 ~ 3 working days. Don't believe me then go to Fedex website at http://www.fedex.com/ratefinder/standalone...onCountryChange and fill everything in there & then You'll see that I'm telling the truth.

First and foremost, I would like to apologize for not giving the email address that you should contact to RMA the ram(s).
E-mail: cruccust@micron.com

Set the weight to 0.1 KG [100 Grams], the original was 1 KG.
1 kit of ram shouldn't be more than 250 Grams [depending on how you pack the ram lah, jangan pack tebal sangat].

Even if you set it to 0.25 KG / 250 Grams, the price will still be RM170.93.

QUOTE(arafat @ Jan 5 2009, 08:55 PM)

Yerp, original boxes.
However, some of my customers did send their Crucial rams without boxes. And for this reason, I personally asked them to find "at least" 2 Kingston / Corsair / Mushkin valueram boxes and put them in because this is shipment from you to me and me to United States, so there's a high possibility of the ram to be broken into pieces if that ram is not in proper ram packaging.

That's strange.

Anyway, here's a tip for you to reduce the price to the lowest price possible.
However, I can't promise you about the reliability of the shipment because I never use Poslaju for International Shipping.

1. Collect ram kits until the total weight of the packaging together with all the rams reaches 2 KG [2 KG = 12 ~ 16 Dual Channel Kits].
2. Go to any DHL or Fedex center and ask for 1 unit of Fedex Large Express Box or DHL Large Express Box
3. Put all the rams inside the box you just got from DHL / Fedex together with 1 copy of Commercial Invoice together with 2 copies of the Crucial email reply containing the guides and the RMA number then seal the box. No need to cover the box with any mahjong / kertas minyak, just give it to the officer like that.
4. Go to any Poslaju Center [NOT Pos Malaysia] & fill the Poslaju international form with all the details needed.
5. Pass the box to the Poslaju officer together with the rest of the Commercial Invoice copies.
6. The charges shouldn't be more than RM160 ~ RM170 for the whole courier. No extra charges.
7. You can track the item after 3 days by tracking at http://www.usps.com/shipping/trackandconfi...trackandconfirm.
8. Your item first will be hold by US Customs, however you don't have to worry, just get a screenshot of the tracking you just did at USPS website and include the screenshot together with the tracking number and notify Crucial about it by emailing them again at cruccust@micron.com, they'll go to US Customs and declare the item by themself and the item should be released the same day Crucial representatives declares the item to US Customs.

This way if the total kits is 12 units means RM160 / 12 = RM13.33. So each & everyone of you only need to pay RM13.33 to RMA 1 kit. [Excluding the shipment back to them lah.] The larger the number of kits, the smaller the price you'll need to pay to RMA you ram(s).

PS:
* The downside: You'll have to wait for a very long time before you get 12 ~ 16 Dual Channel Kits in your hand.
* I won't be responsible if something wrong happens. It's all in your hand. My job is only to guide you on how to RMA the ram(s). Don't held me responsible if anything bad happens. As I've said earlier, I never use Poslaju International before.
* Your item will first be detained by US Customs once it reaches US shores before it's delivered to the destination no matter what courier you use.
* Pardon me for my bad english.

Why do you need the original box?

PS: If you have the original box, use the original box, if you don't have them, just use 1 valueram box for each stick. Valueram box is still acceptable, but offcourse the original box is more prefered. smile.gif

I have a matched crucial ballistix 6400 1Gb pair. But only one stick is faulty, do I need to send both pair for RMA or only the faulty one.

I still have the original box.

PM me for detail. Thanks

You'll have to send both stick.
Each stick in a dual channel kit comes from the same batch.

If you send only 1 stick, you'll get a new replacement stick that came from a newer batch which will be different from the other stick that's working fine.
And when that happens, you may experience instability with your system.

No, i pack it in a different value ram packaging though and wrapped it with a layer of bubblewraps. Maybe i pack it too heavy and cause the price to be that expensive. LOL...

Anyway, just awaiting for Crucial to reply me on the matter. Wonder whether they change it to a totally new set or would fix the original ones.
