My vote goes to Excel now, follow by FP. Usually I dont need th 3rd shop for stuff.
Personal preference. Nuff said.

Went to the few shops mentioned here:-

CNS - friendly but not the cheapest and if you are asking for 0% credit card instalment..... they will charge you 6% for that..... (No meaning oledi)
Lam loong - Too LCLY
Hike - So far the best offer and the cheapest but pity dun have 0% for my credit card
Nepmatic - Used to have a friend working there but after he left...... turned LCLY

A friend said that if dun have money...... dun play photography!! WHAT!!

I always go to Megastar...the guy Alan is very friendly leh..price also really cheap too...you can get good stuff there for very reasonable price..of course la dun expect 20-30% cheaper la..no such thing wan ler..u get what you paid...going there again tomorrow to look for my EF70-200mm 4.0L IS ...really good lens la

actually, whichever shop you go to will offer you low price eventually, if you are regular customer. you need to build rapport with them. if first time you go, you expect the shop to sell close to their cost price, how can? the good thing is, photography is never a one-time deal. you will keep buying and buying and buying.

having said that... i also never go to nepmatic or lam loong.

lam loong is a lansi company la..i swear i will never go there to buy anything not even if all the shops in Penang close.. Once i went to the fair in Gurney plaza checking out the D60...been totally new with DSLR i tried the D60 for less than 10 seconds and asked the salesman some basic questions.

He was reluctant to answer and acted as if I am not a serious buyer...he then immediately took out the receipt and asked me 'U want ar? i write bill for you now"... what kind of attitude is that. Further to that all Lam Loong accessories are overpriced and they don't nego well..they do like billionaires..but recession i am sure they will fall flat without regulars..

not really u know? i was once ask for 135 F2L price, so happen in gurney photo president a hundred cheaper than shop around komtar area...just i need to wait for a month...so i just skipped and get my another L...still missing the kengness of 135L...woohoooo....

lamlong can be found in perangin mall, gurney plaza and etc
excel is located at ponang road, opposite komtar/cns/easycam, beside hike.

ooh..lamloong in gurney? which floor. I just notice Ky digital, photo president and nepmatic.....just when there yesterday...
