Is it possible to get the results later ? Can we check our results online on 10am tomorrow ?
*
I think it is possible to take the results later. Just look for the particular teacher and take ur results from him/her. One of my friends did this 2 years ago.

Never heard of checking the results online.

QUOTE(Voxe @ Mar 11 2009, 08:49 PM)
You guys so tense for what? If you going to private college, a minimum of 5 credits(5 C's) is enough to be accepted.
*
Worrying if I couldnt meet to the expectation of those who are expecting. icon_question.gif

Hey my girlfriend did dream of the same thing. But my name was by no chance mentioned in that dream for straight A's students. How pitiful I am. sweat.gif sweat.gif

QUOTE
Just to do a little mini survey, you people here aiming for what kinda results tomorrow? I'm sure it's either the standard BM-no-fail and 5 credits to get into pre-u OR 10A1's above hoping to get JPA or something. Which one would you people be aiming for actually?

And yes, realistic answers only. Thanks.

Frankly speaking, I dont aim for anything. I just hope that my results would be 'OK lah'. Too afraid to aim actually. And if I set my aim for, then say I end up not getting what I've aimed for, some would say I am far too over-confident. I just dont wanna be thrown with all those controversial speculations.

And fyi, you need not to put ' ' for peribahasa.
*
Hey not really. It's not compulsory to put the ' '. Most of the markers, they just dont bother or preferably dont care about it. It's just a necessity for u to put it to ease the markers to read ur essay.

after 'the' can add s de? like the studentS? or the student?
*
U can. Only if u refer the subject as more than 1. The is just a word to 'spice up' ur sentence.

About the essay, some minor errors committed. U should avoid these kind of errors such as spelling and grammatical errors (if u wan ur paper to look good lah)
And choose correct vocabulary to be used in ur sentences. Reading can help u widen ur vocabulary.

All in all, it's still a good guided essay.

Eh how did he get his paper with all those markings and fresh 'contengan'? I'd love to have my English paper and see what the markers had conteng.

an addmaths ques:

Form the quadratic eqation such that its roots are the reciprocal of the roots of the eqn 6x2+5x-6=0

Solve the quadratic equation first and find it's roots by using one of the three methods u've learnt (via formula/factorisation/completion of squares). Then, use the formula to form ur own quadratic equation something like (sum of roots)x+(product of roots)y=0. Sorry, I dont quite remember about the formula, do correct me if im wrong. And yeah, I havent solved ur question just yet. sweat.gif

i wonder what the marker did with my essay......myb he/she wrote some comments on it, but i never get to read it.....Didn't even noe why i get A1 for GCE-O....
about the essay....i duno hw to giv mark...lol
*
Even getting a D in GCE-O will not pose any threat at all. Sadly to say, it's not used for any sort of things. Even doing A Level to go out of this country will need u to do another test to prove out ur proficiency in English. Yeah but it's weird for ur case as the GCE-O should be much harder to score and would not be tally with English 1119 grade as well. rclxub.gif

i dont understand the reciprocal part
*
Reciprocal is like dividing 1 by any numbers. Sometimes we put power of -1 to convey a reciprocal. In another word, it will be a fraction. 1/something.
