share your tips to study!. i'm in pure science stream. but i always fail most of the subject. i wanna study, but i will fall asleep after i read the book for 5-10 minute. what should i do?

er....if u from cheras , tmn connaught...then i can recommend u to one place....tat teacher is malay too....but very friendly n a little strict also...one of my friend tat usually FAILED at his bm manage to get 50 something at spm trial...

Focus is the key. Take some time to have a deep thought, and focus your energy on your studies.

There must be some scarification in order to achieve success. Remember, nothing comes without effort!

Initially, thanks to those who answer my question. I think we are in the same boat. My brain cannot remember those equation, formula and science term in Add Math, Chemistry, Physics and Biology excluding language subjects, Sejarah and Maths. Although I memorize it, nothing is gained. Only wasting my precious time. I do not know what is the best way to remember these things. Really make me headache Hope someone can share their experience.

You do not memorize equation, you learn the equation. Pointless IF you only know how to memorize add math equation but not putting it in use just like majority students who failed on add math.

Study smart, not hard

Weird , form 5 should be familiar with study environment . Anyway , studying 24/7 is not the key . People who memorise every single word from the textbook are actually dumb and stupid . In truth , I suggest u study reference books for physics chemistry and biology especially pelangi's , it's simple , follow syllabus and stick to main point . For Sejarah , never..and i repeat never study reference books . Use the textbook but highlight the main point using highlighter , i know some chapters like form 4 unit 7 or 8 is damn long and tiring but you have to study it repeatedly as if u're reading a story book . Try to treat youself , like if u finish a chapter or study for 1 hour , get something to eat . Or take a nap when you really bored . Sejarah you don't need to memorise de , my friends all say need to memorise i don't care what they say . I just read through the chapter for a number or times like 3 or 4 times , in the end it's almost the same as memorising and easier as well and i still score 75+ for sej . I have very good tips to help tackle ur chemistry , if u're interested PM me . Same for physics . Biology i don't know what the real tactic is but for me i just repeatedly read through and treat it like a science encyclopedia or picture book . It's interesting to study when u get used to biology .
