is it the graphics card problem? by the way, im only do a small overclocking by using the software which provided by the gigabyte (HUD-Heads Up Display) it makes pc hang. wat happen wat happen

Is ur CPU oced? Ram? hang can result frm the slightest miss voltage of any components, not just GPU.

And what is ur 9800GTX clocks after oc?

no...its your psu problem..... u use Icute 650 watt(SLI Ready) rite??it not pure power,,,

CPU clock:740 - OCed 760
Memory :1000 - OCed 1100
Shader :1850 - OCed 2000

Why u OC so much 1 shot? Don't OC ur memory clock first.. OC core only first (and shader will OC together since it's linked to core)

i install the so call Rivatuner already. but hey i face the same problem when i oc the memory from 1000 up to 1090 >> pc hang therefore i set it as performance 3D

there is another issue, sometime when i do small ocing like 740>760, 1850>1900, 1000>1050 and press apply it does not hang but whenever i start playing games like around 2 to 4 minutes it start HANG therefore i need to press reset button again....

Try a 2.6x ratio between shader and core. meaning, set core at say. 750, but crank the shader up to 1950. Leave mem alone for now. If you are using stock cooler, set it to 100% fan speed

Then stress with 3dmark06, and watch for artifacting during the last test.

Errr.........I think 3dmark03 nature test might be better for artifact test?

I also have same problem with chrisw3883r. But that time i also have oc memory, so that mean dont oc memory yet and oc core and shader? How about that 2.6x ratio? How to count it?

Um using gigabyte PSU and its damn good considering my card hunger alot of watts
